    I think I'll have to go to Carson Kitchen and Omae. They've been applauded by anyone who has gone. Omae seems very undervalued at the moment.

    Re Omae: I am pretty sure I read that the chef/owner has returned to Japan on business so the restaurant will be closed for a week or two. Best to call ahead if you plan on going soon.

    How 'bout that... someone who wasn't predisposed to hating Guy Fieri had nice things to say about his place. Good Job!!!

    Gotta disagree on Buddy V's. Subpar at best. Crappy food with excellent service does not a great place make. Maybe just my palate, but stale canolis from a supposed great baker doesn't cut it. Not to mention the burnt veal and pasta sauce that tastes like Chef Boyardee. Just about any other Italian place will be better.
