    My Trip Report

Hello. I am a brand new message board member and I hope to become a regular here. I got hooked on the trip reports from beeejay and natedogg666. My game is blackjack. I try to play double deck and usually one on one with the dealer. I live in San Diego and play at the Indian casinos (barona, viejas sycuan) a couple times a week. With this game I usually buy in for 1k and play single units and try to make the best of a 1-4 unit spread counting. I have no problem rebuying if I dump my buy in a cold shoe or two. I don't try to "bring down the house" but play for my enjoyment and grind out wins for the year. My daily goal would be to play everyday(I know degen) and either half or double up. Out here I get comped rounds of golf; merchandise at the golf clubhouse, meals at various restaurants and even tickets to La Lakers games. Of my friends I am definitely the degen of the group.

For this trip we have 3 couples staying at the Encore for a total of 3 nights. We range from late 20s to early/mid 30s. The women are mostly slot/roulette players. That is not my type of game. One of the guys plays blackjack with me pretty frequently and he will back up my bets in blackjack. Out here people can share one bet if the main player touches the chips before placing the bet. I also can drop shoes at anytime. So if it is cold or the count is crazy wrong I can get out of it easily. I don't know if Vegas will be as liberal with their rules. My friend is a green chip player and already has thrown the idea around to play at a lower property if wynn only wants black chip bets on his double deck. He is a little light in the bankroll now so I totally get it. The last guy friend is very limited in his gaming experience. I did see him throw a football at the San Diego county fair through a cutout and win that rigged game so he must be lucky as hell. Anyone who can do that can split 8s too.

We plan on going out. Seeing some comedy/variety shows; late night club play and day play at either encore beach club or their resort pools. I plan on donating 2-3 hundred in the Lions Share(why not right!). I am also brining my golf clubs(thanks SWA) and hope to play at least once. In San Diego I probably play 5-6 monthly. We are flying in Thursday night around 7 and I am secretly having a limo take us to Wynn(my friends will get a kick out of that!)

I have gone on runs playing. My best was taking 500 to over 9500 in one session. I have hard rules I follow

A: never drink and gamble( I can drink whatever I want AFTER)
B: always double my bet after a dealer blackjack
C: never chase, the casino will be open tomorrow last time I checked
D: never bring last sessions winnings to the next session, start fresh and even.

I will be posting and adding pictures highlighting our exploits. The names will be changed to protect the innocent. Hope you all have fun and I will do my best to lighten Stevie's pockets a bit. Here is a little chip porn from last Thursday in San Diego. image.jpg

I am definitely looking forward to this trip report! I stick to blackjack and craps almost exclusively while in Vegas, with some occasional poker thrown in. (Poker usually takes a back seat, as either 1) I am with my wife and want to spend some quality non-gaming time with her, or 2) my BAC is waaaaay too high.)

I do like Rincon, esp the pool, but just so out of the way for me. Pala is hit or miss for me...when I am running bad at Pechanga, i go to pala...when pala is no good, i go to pechanga...lol. i did hit a couple back-to-back handpays at Pala recently...$5 Top Dollar slot and one of their $25 slots.

Welcome to the board. With that type of action they arent going to swap shoes. You will be a minnow in the pond at wynn. Some major players there, as you can.see by nates play.

At your age and play level, you guys would probably like PH. Have fun

I took soon to be mrs tnloc80 to the airport this morning and went to work. She is working out of state before our trip and will fly into Vegas from the east coast 15 minutes after we land in Vegas. I work in the automotive industry as a manager for domestic cars. Love what I do. Allows for days of during the week when the tables are less active. I was asked about gaming at wynn. I am def a little minnow over there. I don't game in Vegas as much as I once did. Still get plenty of offers as the are trying their best to feel this little fish in.

So after a slow day of car sales I decided to get a little warm up at barona tonight . Bought in for 1500 at 50 DD. In 2 hours turned that into 4312. Was a nice easy run and the water didn't get too choppy. I played mostly with another Asian lady against the dealer. Afterword wanted to celebrate a little at Bully's east(famous for prime rib). Got the 38oz beast!

I like tapatalk. I used it and posted pics for a TR but that was before this site was upgraded. I'm sure it still works great.

    Good luck on your trip!
