Plenty of Best Buffets in Vegas threads an articles online but it's hard to find reliable information on just lunch.
The vast majority of this forum readers know that most buffets are different for lunch, then they are for dinner and weekday dinner vs weekend dinner.
So who has the best lunch buffet and why?
    Thanks

The Cosmo does not have a breakfast buffet or lunch buffet but instead a brunch buffet for $26. Mon-Fri 8:00am to 2:00pm/Weekend Brunch: Sat-Sun 8:00am to 3:00pm

I had it for the first and certainly not the last time in November 2013. Everything was very very FRESH. And I dont mean just looked fresh but tasted exceptionally fresh as it should be. Everything I put on my plate...meats, salads, sides, etc were absolutely positively delicious. I think my favorite section was the "meat/cheese board" section as I called it. Full of a variety of meats, cheese, mustard, figs, etc. I love a good cheese board with wine.

Here was a brief review I left...

"Holy hell my expectations were high and they were blown out of the water, dried off, given a massage, and fed grapes.....that's how good it was. Creative, creative, creative. The taste was spectacular. Seasoned perfectly. Pumpkin pancakes, damn. Meat/cheese plate section, damn damn. Ribs, wow. Thick slabbed bacon, food boner-ific. Chicken wings, yes yes and yes!"

In my opinion, Aria has the best lunch buffet. It's about $25 per person during the week, and they have a huge variety. Anything from crab legs, sushi, pork belly, gelato, etc. All the food I tried there was excellent. I've been there several times. The Bellagio lunch buffet is pretty good, but it's not as good as Aria. Not as much variety as Aria in my opinion. I haven't been to Cosmo's buffet, but I'm not a fan of that casino in general I haven't tried Caesar's buffet yet, as it's significantly more expensive than many of the other's. I've only had breakfast and dinner at Wynn's buffet, but it was good. I'd probably rank Wynn second of all the ones I've been to. Just my two cents.

+1 on Aria. I'm a big fan of Aria's buffet for lunch. Second might be Bellagio, but I think they're in major need of a renovation.

I know im picky but Cosmo is the only strip buffet worth going to imo unless its a weekend were u can hit up Border Grill or Wynns Jazz brunch. On my recent 3 week trip in June i hit up 3 different buffets for lunch (MB, Aria and Cosmo). Arias is pretty decent and i went there twice but only because it was free. They have some good crabs legs and deserts but also a lot of very bland offerings. I dont even know were to start on MB since i left hungry but my advice is to stay away! Cosmo is indeed very nice and one of the few buffets i been to were you can get a delicious omelette that is not overcooked. This is the only buffet that i would actually pay for and there desert station might be worth the cost by itself if you have a sweet thooth.

If you are going on a weekend i would hit up Border Grill and there brunch was just as good as always. Its a different type o buffet were you order small plates of a of a menu but this is a great thing since everthing comes out fresh. They only let you order 2 plates at the time but as soon as they deliver it to your table you can order another 2, then just repeat until full. They have some excellent mimosas as well. I didnt get a chance to hit up Wynns Jazz brunch and its been over a year since my last visit but its usually very good as well unless things have changed as of late.

Count me as another vote for Aria Lunch. I really didn't feel like I was missing much from the dinner version.

I am NOT a buffet person--why? Buffets are typically overpriced for bland boring mediocre food.
Wicked Spoon at Cosmo is none of this--it is flavorful, inventive food with lots of interesting selections. I think that those who do not like it prefer a more "typical" buffet offering.
We ate at Caesars last month & it , too, was outstanding for the same reasons but it is so expensive. My suggestion is to show up around 10:45 & pay breakfast prices. They always have fresh seafood out & between 11 & 12 they transition to lunch so we got to sample items from both meal choices. By 11:45 they still had not made the complete transition to lunch.
Paris also surprised us--less unusual inventive offerings but everything was flavorful. Great service too.
Did I love everything I tried? Heck no, but found many I did love not just tolerate
This being said I ate at Cosmo free with food comps when we stayed there & Paris free with the free Buffet of Buffets we received with our TR credit card; this time we paid the $15 pp upcharge for breakfast at Caesars--WORTH IT
But I don't feel any of these meals are worth the $50 for the 2 of us. 2/1 or free, worth it.

For a "higher end" buffet, Wicked Spoon at Cosmo is my favourite. For a good buffet in a lower $ range, I like Bistro Buffet at Palms.

Another vote for Bellagio. I generally don't like buffets because I had found there would be lots of food, but not super quality. The Bellagio was outstanding. Everything that I tried was wonderful. It all had flavor, was hot if it was supposed to be and cold if it was supposed to be. The choices were endless. The table service was very friendly and prompt. I can't wait to go back and try all the things that I couldn't get to the first time!

If you are on a budget, the Bistro Buffet @ The Palms is a good value (get the player's card for a discount)....if you want to spend more (more than 2X), then the Aria buffet has the variety, quality and setting...

If you have a car, the buffet at the M Resort is one of our absolute favorites. Excellent variety of foods and all well prepared. It's also very easy to earn a free buffet through slot play.

I've done the Bellagio Buffet for lunch a number of times (dinner as well, where on the weekend it's really good) and it's always been good.
I've done Aria Buffet for dinner once and thought it was okay.
I've done the M Resort for breakfast once and it was great.
I've done the Cosmo for dinner and it was GREAT!

With the above input, I think I will give Aria a chance at lunch and if it is just so so the following day I will make sure to hit Cosmo for dinner.

Another vote for Aria's lunch buffet; I like the smaller portions that they put out so that food doesn't dry out. They also have a very good gelato selection.
