I haven't stayed at the Flamingo since 2000, and back then you got a "regular room" which by the way had a view of Caeasars.

Now, there are so many different categories, I'm dizzy.

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Fab and the GO?

And do they still have the safes in the room that are held to the floor by a cable?

Fab...cheaper décor & wood floors......Go, higher end décor & carpeting. Only stayed there 1 night probably 12 + years ago and in very old room. We had great comps for NYE week for next trip and chose the Go room and hoping to get my auto Diamond upgrade. Think both rooms available with a strip or High Roller view. Hope someone else can respond to your safe question....

Fab rooms were redone a couple of years ago and are kind of hit and miss. The bathrooms were not redone but the rooms are ok if you want to save money. Go rooms are nice and come with a mini fridge and coffee maker. Both fab and Go can come with either a strip view or high roller view but will be more expensive.

I would choose Go every time.

GO rooms are some of my favorite in Vegas.

I'd rather stay at Circus Circus than stay in a FAB room.

Obviously two different design teams were used for these remodels as one did a great job and one was obviously on crack.

Stayed at Flamingo 3 times. Have never been successful with a free upgrade to GO. Had Fab rooms that were nice and some that looked like a cheap Motel 6. I am very picky on safes. The safes were very secure. I don't remember the details but I know there was no cable involved. I refuse to stay at the Quad because of their safe situation.

GO room is the way to go. Safe works great but never checked to see if a cable was involved. Have fun.

Yea, they've added like 100 categories, it's weird. But 100% GO. The Fab are not updated. "High Roller view" is basically no strip view... they changed that, but then didn't delete the other categories.

Actually, we had friends in a Fab room in April with a high roller view and it was really quite nice. The bathroom was the only thing not updated but it was clean.

Have had the Go rooms three or four times and the Fab room twice. The Go room are much nicer than the Fab rooms.
