Simply: no. You just gotta show your ID when they ask for it. There's no wrist bands in the casinos.

I agree, it's annoying. But this can be a touchy topic on these boards. A lot of people seem to think getting carded is an honor or something...

The wristbands do actually exist. A few years ago someone I know was issued one but it made no difference, they still carded him.

Though I've never tried this myself, people in the past have mentioned that at least some casinos will give you a wristband if you go to security (and I know that casinos in some states are required by law or regulation to offer this option). Just go to the security desk and ask; worst case, they'll say no.

Hell, when I get carded I'm happy as a clam that someone thinks I might conceivably be under the age of 21.

Almost always results in a 5 dollar tip on the first hand...particularly if the dealer is cute.

That's probably why they do it...but I still don't care.

It will stop, as you get older. I used to hear the same thing from my wife and I don't hear that anymore. Used to hear the same thing from my son and I don't hear that anymore. Enjoy it while it last because when it does you have something else to face....middle age.

I'm 24 and have been to Vegas 10-15 times since I have been 21 and I can probably count on 1 hand the amount of times I've been carded for anything with the exception of clubs and checking into the hotel. This is only on the strip though, I very very rarely gamble downtown and I spend most of my time at Aria, B, Wynncore. I also wouldn't say that I look old for my age either, if anything the exact opposite. I wonder what other factors go into it......what games are you typically playing? At poker tables I've been carded 1 time that I can ever remember. The only places that I will ever get carded is usually lower CET props at craps when I get hassled to join TR.

I never get carded. Sometimes if another player at the table and I starting chatting and they ask my age I will answer quickly with "nineteeeeee....twenty two...yea twenty two" usually I get weird looks from the dealer and then they ask for ID. kinda fun game

I think it is flattering. To get carded is like a badge of honor! They can card me any day.

I don't get carded at off-strip, but anytime on the strip, I do...Im 32, btw. (but with my hair cut and shaved, I look young)
I don't mind it, they're just doing their job.

I've been carded a couple times in Vegas since my first trip where I was carded 9 times in 3 days (was 21). One of the times I was carded in Vegas in my 30s was having a water at the bar while waiting to eat at outback. I was dumbfounded. Lady said no one can even sit at a bar if you're under 21 in Nevada.

I am 40+...if i am in a Ceasar's property, i will always get carded. Apparently, they got a big fine a couple years ago.

I'm 34 with quite a lot of grey hair and I still get carded all the time. No casino or bar is going to risk a fine rather than have you whip ID out unfortunately.

A few years ago (think 25 or. 26) I was reminded that I needed to be 16 to sit in the exit row by the flight attendant.

We took my 21 yr old son with us on our May trip - he was carded every single time he ordered a drink, sat a machine, walked thru the casino, and at Bally's he was carded twice at the dame craps table (dealer switch)... It got old fast, biggest concern was losing his ID... I'll bet he showed his ID more than 30 times a day...
