Vegas is awesome 24/7, I get that and agree.

If you did have to choose a window of time, identify the 2 or 3 hours in a day/night that are the most fun, gratifying or the ones you most look forward to and the activity that delivers.....

    Cool question...

I actually have two depending on how my schedule is running. If I'm on a "normal" schedule meaning I'm going to bed at a decent time and waking at a workday like time then I really enjoy the 7-10am timeframe. The strip is quiet and has the calm before the storm feeling. I like to sit at Mon Ami Gabi and eat breakfast and watch the people. Many walks of shame going on. I feel refreshed from a good night sleep and can get in some good craps table time.

If I'm more on the stay up all night schedule then I enjoy the 11pm-1am window. It's before I've completely tied one on and after having a nice fulfilling dinner and the night is still young.

Another thing for me to add to my early AM timeframe love...

I enjoy getting a straight razor shave and massage while in town. Waking up early and hitting the massage table, spa and having a shave and then walking to breakfast makes me feel like a million bucks.

    1 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The rest of the party is in bed and I wander downstairs for some solo gambling. I don't know why but I have crazy luck in that situation and my father always used to as well. It is always great to wake up and say "Hey honey, look what I won while you were sleeping!"

I try to stay on East Coast time so I can take advantage of the 4-6am time frame. The city is quiet, the casinos are empty and I feel like the whole place is there just for me. I love getting coffee and just walking around taking it in with a little gamling here, a little gambling there and then watching the sun come up.

I'm with those posters who enjoy the early morning hours. I love watching the casino come to life; the dealers opening new decks of cards, and checking them, the pit bosses verifying and re-filling the chip racks, security guards escorting the slot techs as they go machine to machine, emptying the previous nights take.

There's also the maintenance crew vacuuming, polishing, sweeping, etc. I feel I have the place to myself, it's quiet and relaxing, playing slots or VP with a refreshing screwdriver cocktail as my morning "coffee".

Then when the day starts going, it's back to the high energy, wild, crazy, loud, and fun craps tables I love so much.....

    3 - 6 am.

It's quiet even on the busiest of nights, I like when the carpet cleaners come out, even better if you find yourself having to stumble down Fremont in the early morning sun. Once in a blue moon you have a wad of cash still but even if there's nothing but lint in your pocket and maybe a lonely bic and your License, room-key and players cards you're okay because you had a hell of a run.

I have a dislike of 10 - 12 pm for that's the time I'm in my room watching a movie if my luck was bad and my evening bankroll tanked.

I'm with the 2-5 am crowd. Love being on the strip and just taking in the sights without all the hustle and bustle. Also enjoy having my choice of machines.

11pm to 2am. I'm not much of a table guy, but I love seeing others playing them, and these seem the peak hours. Also, all the pleasure pits are in action.

8-10am. The casinos are empty and that's when I can enjoy some laid back gambling.

I guess I'm with a lot of people. I am up so early normally that I can't sleep past 3:30 or 4:00 a.m. when in Vegas. I've learned not to fight it and I really enjoy the early mornings in the casino from like 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. I can have whatever machine I want, the casino is quiet, and the people watching - awesome! I love it.

For a normal early-riser like me....6 or 7am - 9 or 10am. Get a nice cup of coffee, sit at any machine I want & people watch....usually catch someone doing the "walk of shame" which can be entertaining itself....lol. I just wait for the rest of my group to get up so we can start our day with breakfast.....

I love the 5:00a - 8:00a time window. For me, there is nothing better than being on the nearly-deserted casino floor with a hot cup of Joe playing any of my favorite machines.
