As the title implies I already have a reservation at Bally's for late this September but wanted to keep checking to see if the rates have gone down and every time I try I get an error code stating:

"We're sorry but the following errors have occurred: Please wait and try again later or contact us at 1-800-Caesars (1-800-223-7277).

Our records indicate that you already have a reservation at one of our casinos during the same period requested below. Please select new dates or log out if making additional reservations."

Does that mean I can only check for lower rates by calling or am I missing something? :rolleyes2:

    THANKS!

paperposter got it, you should be able to view room pricing but the message you see is so you can not double book their properties. If you see a lower rate you could call their reservations line and tell them, or (slightly riskier if price would change during re-booking), cancel original booking and then re-book. I would call as their rates have changed on me from logging out and then back in; total time maybe 2 minutes.

I will try doing that! I did find that when I checked rates, they would be posted at a certain rate, but when I actually hit the button to book the room, that a lower price would pop up - it would show the per night rate marked out with a green line and a lower rate was posted..

and its those marked out lower rates that I can't get it..

but perhaps if the first rate I see is lower than what I have, then that means that the final rate would be even lower.

I'll keep trying and I have no problem cancelling and re-booking!!

    thanks for the help!!

So I was checking my rates under my TR# over the weekend, and realized that the prices had dropped a little, so I called customer service and they re-booked me at the lower rates!

    first score of the trip!!

We've cancelled and rebooked our Vegas hotels (Flamingo and PH), three times in the past three months as the rates have dropped. Total pricing has gone from $800 to less than $300 including resort fees. We found if we looked up the offers, compared to our current booking, and it was worth the effort, we'd cancel the existing booking, and immediately rebook at the new rate. There's a heart stopping moment when you think you could've lost your whole booking, but it passes and you've saved money.... Well, in our experience anyway :)

You need to be careful about calling them because I have seen reports here where they charge a fee for using the reservations line. I think $10.

I called the other day and they tried to impose the $10 fee on me.
