Does anyone know if Paris charges for daily parking if we are staying there ?

I'm renting a car for a few days of our stay and couldn't find the info on there web site.

Do any of the strip hotels charge a parking fee for visiting them. I like to walk but I'm taking my mom and her friend and they can't walk the strip like they use to.

    Thanks T

No charge for strip casino parking. But if you go downtown, it's almost everywhere.

We haven't had a rental in years, but this much I do remember, it came be a long walk from parking garage to casino. If anyone has walking issues you might consider dropping them off somewhere closer to the casino, then go park the car yourself. Or, leave the car with the valet, I believe those are still free (or the cost of a tip when you pick it up).

Thanks for the reply and the Valet is a great idea. If it were up to my sister and I just going we would walk ,taxi or bus any place to far but taking to 77 something's with knee and hip issues I would like them to not be in severe pain for weeks after we get home. They do get around pretty good but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks for all the advice. Can't wait to get there.

All self-parking lots and structures on the major Strip properties are free, but can be a bit of a walk unless you get lucky and find one next to the casino entrances. Some garages are better than others, for example: MGM Grand and Luxar have you park far in the back of the property, whereas Palazzo and Casmo are very short walks since the garages are under the property. Some of the older properties have you walk over covered bridges while the newer ones tend to have A/C hallways to provide access.

Valets are also free (+tip). They are great for dropping your car off and getting in very close. However, depending on the place and time of day, you may be waiting very long to get your car back. Unless you want to drop a $10, $20, or more for a glories tip when you drop off your car you may have to get comfortable while waiting for your car to return. And unfortunately, you can't call ahead for them to pick up your car like some other hotels around the country. This is most likely due to the high demand of the valet by hotel guests and casino visitors.

Personally, if I want to use valet I'll tend to use it more often during the day while there is less demand for it and use self parking during the evening when valets are busier. Usually, I like to save the few bucks used for tipping and self park. It's also quicker when leaving.

One of my favourite things about Vegas is using the valet. I freaking love it. I wish there was valet everywhere. I only self park in Vegas if I absolutely have to. Tip $1 in and out and you're fine.

It's that easy. I don't ever remember self parking. Valet is just to easy.
