I live next door to this club. Seemed like business as usual but I'll take a peek on my way home from work tommorow evening.

My friend is the GM of this place. Eager to ask him what happened or if I even should ask.

I believe you are right. My buddy no longer is working there but didn't ask what happened.

Would rather not put his name out there but if you wanna tell me his initials, I will confirm if it's the same person or not.

I have yet to pass by the place at night due to being off work and usually don't go out much at night but I live right next door. I will say that during the daytime when the clubs TV screen is usually on in the daytimes the last few times I've been by there the screen has been off. I will make an effort to head over there this evening to confirm or deny this rumor for you.

I met a girl last week who worked there but moved to Rhinos when it closed. She said that the problem was that the club and many of the girls were regularly overcharging customers for services (one customer complained that he had a 6 figure charge, tried to complain but was "coerced" to pay the bill). The club turned the other cheek and didn't do anything to combat the overcharging and the FBI and IRS were called in to investigate and closed down the club (not sure for how long or if it's open again) with some kind of charge...(racketeering?). Many clubs have a limit on charging customers (maybe if it's higher the customer has to sign something agreeing to the higher charges) but CP didn't have that rule.

I'm not sure if what she said was true or the reason why the club was closed down but when we were talking story that's what she said.

I can confirm that the club is closed on 6/16/14 at 7pm I dropped by and sure enough there is a closed sign in the small window on the door of the club.
