Fun Book Question

Do any of the hotel/casino's give out fun books anymore? Several years ago many of them had booklets or sheets of discount coupons ranging from 2 for 1
buffets, shows etc to percent off deals for spa services, meals and other things going on in that specific hotel or the group of hotels (like CET) to which they belonged. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

 

We always get one with our room key packet.....most recently at Bally's & Paris. Had 20% off at the burger restaurant bogo at Rio & Harrah's buffest & Jubilee....sorry can't remember the other things....

 

I have a room booked at Four Queens this October that's supposed to include a fun book.

 

South Point for sure has them. I believe someone posted something about Luxor and/or Excalibur having them, as well.

 

Most of the casino's listed above only give those out at check-in.
If you want the sheets of coupons without a reservation, go downtown and do the free pull slot machines at a few of the casino's there. IIRC 4 Queens and Binions still have them.

 

The Golden Nugget gives you one when you arrive if you book the room through them. In December we used a couple of their coupons including a buy one get one free buffet for breakfast and lunch during the week, and a couple free drinks at Claude's Bar. Nice discounts if you were planning to eat/drink there anyway.

 

Luxor gives these out at Check-in. The fun books are listed as one of benefits of paying the Luxor's resort fee. Typical coupons are 2 for 1 drinks, buffet, etc. Nothing spectacular.

 

If you ask at El-Cortz they'll give you one even if your not staying there.
