Is there a shortcut going from Ballys to PH Mircle Mile Shops? Go through Paris? We didn't want to walk out to LV Blvd and down to PH then all the way in back to the MM Shops.
We also do not care for deserted ally ways. We will be doing this in the mid morning.

Yup! Walk the inside walkway from Bally's to Paris, walk through Paris and out the doors by their porte cochere, you cross one street and are at the entrance to the Miracle Mile shops. It's a very easy walk.

Do you mean that from Ballys in walkway to Paris, that at the intersection instead of turning right into Paris, walk straight through and past the Paris Ballrooms? Then out side? We needed a shortcut and not go on the Strip.

Done this countless times. It's easy, either on the street or inside via Paris.

Its impossible to do without going on the strip, you will have to exit Paris and walk on the strip to get to the MM entrance by the cabo wabo cantina its 1-2 minute at the most but you cant do it without going outside

There is not a secret backway into the back of the Miracle Mile, if that is what you mean. At least not that I know of. Once you get to Paris, you would not go through the ballroom, just through the casino. Once you exit Paris by the valet/taxi drop off, you only have to be on the strip for 2-3 mins tops before you pass Cabo Wabo and take the people mover up and into the Miracle Mile shops.

I don't know of any way shorter than that, like from the back of one to the back of the other.

Agreed with what everyone has said; I had to make this walk a few times back in April for a VP tournament. One thing from the OP's post that stands out: You said you didn't want to walk down the strip and go all the way through to the back of Planet Hollywood to get to the MM shops; the MM shops have a couple entrances there off the strip; there's not really any "going back to" the shops through PH.

We were trying to have a short cut but I guess that is not available. Looking at the maps of PH and the one of MM shops, it is a case of not going all the way through PH to get to the shops as I had thought.
It will be a long haul for others in the group, but now we know. Thanks for the input. I need to look at the maps more closely. I have always said that the city blocks on the Strip are sooo much of an illusion. Thanks again.
