You should be able to, though I can't rule out random casinos having rules against non-cigarette smoking. That being said, much like with cigars (which I'll occasionally smoke in Vegas), it's good to be considerate about it, ask the dealer and they other players if they mind, etc.; even if it's officially allowed, I try to not be a jerk about it, especially since people tend to have stronger reactions to non-cigarette smoke.

But pipe smoke actually smells good. It is getting to be a lost art, if you will.

It's funny, I was thinking about that after I wrote out my response. I agree that pipe smoke generally smells better than cigarette smoke, but for some reason it just seems intensely out of place to me in Vegas. At least when it comes to a blackjack table, I'm probably more receptive to cigarette smoke than pipe smoke, even though I hate cigarettes in any other context!

No reason not to. Literally the worst thing that would happen is that someone will come over and say, "Sir, I'm afraid you can't smoke that in here."

Probably because if you walked into a store in Vegas and asked for a pipe, a tobacco pipe wouldn't be what they gave you!

The Tuscany Casino has signs throughout saying that cigar and pipe smoking are prohibited. This is the only casino I can think of with this rule but there are probably others.

Never had a problem with smoking a pipe at any casino downtown, on the strip or off-strip for that matter. I'm extra courteous due to the higher volume of smoke generated by a pipe indoors and try to sit at the end of the table..

As a cigar smoker, that is far from the worst thing I've experienced in Vegas for smoking. I don't light up at a table if people are there, I sit at the end downwind of the air currents at the table (I tend to play the same handful of tables, and yes, I've learned the air currents) and I blow my smoke away from the table, and STILL people who've not uttered a word to me yet will turn and yell swears at me.
