Looking for opinions on the best place to go for a good steak that's casual. Not looking for the expensive, ala carte places where you have to buy everything separate. I like my steak, potato and salad to all be part of the meal. But still needs to be tender and good.

Many of the better restaurants in LV see diners in shorts / jeans etc. That is the type of town it is. Many positive comments on the restaurant at Circus, Circus...very old school & good.

EI is the only place that I can think of that's casual. Most hotel cafe'/coffee shops will have want you want but I am not in a position to vouch for most. If you are willing to at least do business casual, The Cortez Room at Gold Coast is pretty special.

Believe it or not.....Planet Dailies inside Planet Hollywood.

Had an awesome Filet Mignon medium-rare with baked potato and vegetable all included. The damn thing was so delicious, charred on the outside, and juicy tender inside. I'd swear they cooked that thing at The Strip House and sent it on down. It was THAT good!

Planet Dailies is as casual as you can get.

Are you looking for someplace like an Outback Steak House. Or something in that price range?

I've eaten the steak @ Grand Lux in the Palazzo, and thought that was very good for a casual restaurant.

I saw this advertised last year, but never got around to going, and will have to try and make it over there one evening this year.

Would you consider any "steak night" buffets? One price gets you all the fixins and more. Only downside is you have to get up and make it yourself. The upside is if you like it you can go up for more.

We enjoy going to Outback above Casino Royale, nice view of the volcano at Mirage.

Last time we had the 16 ounce bone-in Ribeye cooked Medium. It was very tender and juicy (ribeyes are a bit fatty though).

My wife has already mentioned it for our next trip later this month. But, all this talk about the Redwood Grill is getting me curious and we will be spending a few nights at MSS.

MON AMI GABI at Paris Hotel was way better than I was expecting. Just order the steak frites and your good to go. The fries were almost as good as Bouchons.

You're definitely looking for the Circus Circus Steakhouse. Attire is casual, and while it is pricey, you get a salad and a baked potato with your steak, which is exceptionally tasty.
