    went to drais last thursday.

stopped by around 9.45 on my to a concert so i walked thru the cromwell to get a layout of how they where doing the lines and checkins. spoke to a host there some quck question very nice.

went back around 11-30-11.45 pm theres one section for table checkin and then around 5 or 6 parrell rope line with differnt checkins, promoter , general admision, differnt ipad stuff, thats where basicaly everybody goes to get in unless you have a table.

the proces is the line to cashier to , hand stamp guy to elevator up to the club.

they let in groups of guys no problem at all, the nicest staff ive seen in a long time.other clubs should treat there costomers so nice

went to ga line wait was a few minutes ,made to cashier , they comped me im given a recipt every one gets a recipt you show the recipt to hand stamp guy. whole process takes about 15 minutes.

when i left around 1.15 am there was no line know one was waiting to getting. i went over to hakkasan.

    about the club.
thursday is non edm nite so they played all types of music wich was great.

    amazing views.
you dont need to table service plenty of room to move around.

there still getting crushed by hakkasan and marquee becuase of the big named djs

was a nice crowd but not crowded

    the club is beautiful, stunning,amazing.

friday was edm music not crowded at all , hakkasan and the others are killing them.

drias after hours is still at ballys hasnt opened at the cromwell yet.

i have a ton of pictures just cant figure out how to post on the new board yet.

    ask any questions you have

i will add the music at the pool isnt over bearing and they have the best views of the Bellagio , paris iffell tower and the strip , its stunning, even if you dont like clubs you can go out at the pool and have a cocktial or 2 you will be fine then go home, im sure on thursday girls can figure out how to get comped in if the poke around . so say 10 pm to 11.30 home by midnite for the older folks who want a great view to wind down the nite its the perfect spot

so is this a regular hours club or an after hours club? I thought Drais used to get busy at 4 am. This club appears to be a standard midnight entry club. Thx.

there doing a day club pool part and a nite club pool party all by drais. all nitelife entertainment at the cromwell will be run by drias.

eventualy drias after hours will open up in its old place where it was in bills gambling hall but right now its still at ballys, so you will go from pool party upstairs from 10pm till 4 am at 4 am go downstairs for drias after hours till 8 am and then back up to the pool to get some sun , repeat

This is brilliant, though, in my opinion. If this club truly isn't dependent on a particular type of music, then it's sustainable even after the EDM craze dies down, which will absolutely happen some day. Maybe it won't ever be a Hakkasan-killer, but if it can remain steadily popular, then that's a pretty solid investment.

Thanks for the review. I am 52 and my husband is 60 but we certainly don't act our age! While we are not big clubgoers, the pics of Drai's have me wanting to try it out. Maybe I can get our host to comp us for Thursday night and we can enjoy a few drinks in that amazing looking club.

i agree the best thing it wasnt a suasage factory with everyone standing in front off the dj booth for 4 hours , people where chilling all over just have in a blast. totaly differnt from hakkasan and the other clubs thats vbasicaly a concert now, thus more of a trure old scholl nite club vibe.

Any perks for being Diamond/7 Stars at this club? Free entry / no lines, etc.?

Thanks for the review and this sounds like my kind of place. I wouldn't call it old school though, from the occasional nights I go out nowadays its the way clubs/lounges still are in NY and other cities. Even Vegas clubs were like this before the EDM scene which didn't really start there all that long ago.

And I agree with 44inarow that something like this is actually sustainable. As a bond guy who likes things I can count on its where I'd put my money....if I had any.
