Any playing in The Dual $240,000 slot tournament at The Mirage July 17-19?
Even finishing dead last both days gets your buy-in back in free play. Im fortunate enough to have my buy-in comped and looking forward to turning that free play into some nice hard cash or better yet just winning the cash prize.

Yes I'm also coming out. I was in one at Mirage a few years ago and didn't think much of it. Then I was in one at MB 2 years go that was amazing. Should be fun...I assume they'll expect you to rack up extra points during the "off time"?

This is my first tournament and I'm anxious for it.
I didn't get any info on where to register once I arrive. Will there be a package waiting for me at check-in?

I'm there 4 days too late or else I'd be totally down. I've always wanted to play in one

Hubby and I will be there for that tournament - we get everything comp'd - except for the buy-in - we had to pay the $500 buy-in.
You must be a hi roller to have the buyin comp'd :). you are right in that you will get at the very least the buyin back via free play.

The package is normally ready at check in but sometimes they tell you to come back at a later time to pick it up. All the details will be there - tournament registration is on Thursday afternoon around 5pm across from the Terry Fator theatre and for late arrivals Friday morning at 8am..
This one will be double the fun because it's two separate tournaments with two chances to win. Lots of laughs and camaraderie - the emcee is a hoot - she has been doing it for years and reminds me of Elvira the vampire...pretty good food layout and open bar for those who partake...

    See you there!

I received one for MGM, not Mirage. Also, a dual slot tournament but in August. Anyone get this one?
    Thanks

I am going to the Dual Slot Tournament at the Mirage. They put on first class tournaments. And with this one even last place both days you get $500 in Free Play. So free rooms, free food, friendships and lots of fun!

I got the Dual mailer too and would definitely take a free shot at it. Unfortunately, i am already booked at MGM with a free offer for Lady GaGa tix that same weekend and do not think I am able to book two mlife offers for the same weekend.

I got one for The Wynn. I'm not sure why though, since I have never stayed there. I want to play in a slot torunament some day. How does it work? You pay money to enter and just try to get as many points as possible? Does the casino give you a free room to participate? How long do you have to sit and hit the spin button for?

Still waiting for my countdown timer.... The Mirage 60 days!!! (Hopefully sooner) :)
