is it expensive to take a taxi from the M Resort and vice versa? Is it just easier to take a shuttle?

At 11 miles each way, I'd stick to the shuttle if the location and times are convenient.

    Yes and No.

Yes it is expensive to take a taxi - about $30.

No its not easier to take the shuttle - you have to be at Fashion Show Mall at a specific time and hope there is room, so a taxi would be easier because its "on demand" when you want and can take you where you want to go (either from any hotel to M Resort or vise versa).

This is pretty much spot on but there is an exception to this rule. If all the cab drivers went on a strike at the same time it would drastically change this situation to the opposite. First of all it would now be easier to take the shuttle since all the cab drivers are on strike. This will also change the fact that grabbing a cab will not longer be expensive since you will have to steal one to get anywhere. This could be a bit problemtic for some not to mention the fact that you will have to drive yourself which can be an inconvenience especially if you are under the influence.

M & RR are a couple of the hotels I would WANT a Rental Car, if staying at.
Much more convenient. and usually cheaper, than taxi's.
IF you can rent one? That's best way ta go when staying at M,IMO.

Fully agree with renting a car when staying at the M. If the gambling isn't going well at M there is no place within reasonable walking distance if you want to try or just see somewhere else. With a car South Point and Silverton are just a few minutes away.
