Their website claims they have $3 BJ tables, is this true? Is it just one table that's completely crowded?

Looking for cheap tables near the strip.

You can get on the $3 - it's hit or miss for empty seats.

Also try Ellis Island, Quad (had tons last August - even at night) maybe that has changed as they are trying to be more upscale, harrah's, surprisingly NOT FOUND at Casino Royale, try Bally's

You're lucky if you can even find a $5 table there.

I don't play blackjack much but stay at the riv all the time. I remember seeing a 1$ table and I think some 3-5$ tables. It's on the opposite end of the strip so not sure if that's an option for you or not

There is no point to playing $3 BJ. Its always crowded with a bunch of people who don't know what they are doing. You're better off playing a $10 table with more knowledgeable players (and that's never a guarantee either). If you don't have the scratch to play $10 hands or better, you can do .25 or $1 slot machines and earn points for comps.

Disagree 100%. Though overly-crowded tables can be somewhat annoying, other players not knowing what they're doing doesn't affect your odds, and I definitely don't think it's worth playing a game you don't like (i.e., slot machines instead of blackjack) just to earn points for comps.

This is the correct answer. Anybody with a limited bankroll in particular should be nowhere near a $10 table. The inherent variability in the game requires having some leeway in the event you hit a bad streak. Better to take a hit but still have money to play than to be wiped out in an hour or less. Besides, in my experience, you see almost as many "people who don't know what they're doing" at a $10 table as a $3/5 table.
