I'm traveling solo on my next trip, no car, and staying at Bally's. I was tempted to use some LPs for monorail rewards, but I see most are buy one get one.

Could one person use both the passes, making it a 50% discount? E.G. I get a two day BOGO and use one Thursday-Friday, and the second Saturday-Sunday. Would that work?

My memory is the passes aren't activated until the first scan, but maybe MyVegas is different.

Yes you can and you are correct that the passes aren't activated until they are first used.

And the Monorail rewards don't count as one of your "three", right?

    Use 2 at same time?

Wondering if anyone has done this and had a problem. There are 3 of us and I was going to by a 3 day pass and a 5 day pass. One person will use 3 day bogo for the consecutive days and 2 people will use the 5 day bogo and split the cost of the 5 day.
Anyone forsee any problems since they are both bought with my name? I didnt see anything in the disclosures.
    Thanks!

Shouldn't be a problem. Monorail passes aren't tied to a person and most stations are unmaned. You just swipe the card and walk through.

Have you used the monorail before? Way to much walking to and from the monorail stations (back of the casinos). Not really all that convenient.

How did you figure this out - is this written in the terms? Are there any other rewards that don't count toward the three? Thanks.

Only MLife rewards have the "3/30 days limit".

I think it is convenient if you are staying at one of the hotels that have a station. If you are staying at the opposite side of Vegas Blvd then it might not be the best option. I have used it when staying at MGM and it was the best thing for me.

How do you find anyone at a Monorail station to get a pass to use the MLife comps? We were there in March and couldn't redeem our rewards.

Booth's at each station are manned during the day, something along the lines of 9am until 6ish. But please check for yourself, I'm probably off by a little bit.

When you do the MyVegas BOGO (say a 2 day pass), you go to the booth, show them the comp code. They charge you for one 2 day pass, and give you two separate two day passes.

Yes, the passes are activated when you first use them in a turnstile, not when they are purchased.

No, they do not count against your 3 redemption limit.

I did the 2 day pass BOGO on my solo trip last month, it worked like a charm. Used one on Monday and Tuesday, used the second on Wednesday and Thursday.

Yes, the stops are at the back of the casinos, but they aren't too painful to get to, other than MGM. Then you have walk through their ginormous casino, then through the "Underground" to get to the station. But I think it's worth it, especially when the weather is way too hot for walking.

Bonus: I learned this my last trip: there is a stop for the SDX just below the Sahara station. I found it was a bit more comfortable to get on/off the SDX there when going to/from downtown, and use the monorail to get back to/from the strip.

I don't suppose that a monorail pass is linked with The Deuce bus system in any way is it?

The monorail stations are manned until 7pm apart from the MGM one which is 9pm. However it closed early one day last week so best to check.
