Quick rundown: heading to Vegas for a week at the end of the June. I got a comp for a week at CET properties. I initially booked a MLife hotel as I prefer their properties, I didn't have any good offers in my MLife account just some discounts and a $25 resort credit but found better discounts on Smartervegas.

Last weekend I figured hey it's foolish to pass up a free room so I went back to the drawing board and picked out the Flamingo GO room and got that comped for a week.

So we are staying at the Flamingo since it's free (more money to gamble! ) but we aren't sure where we want to focus our play?

Our bankroll is $700 a day total (low rollin') and we plan on playing 4 days. I play mostly slots, video roulette and little VP. DH plays slots and he usually plays table minimum roulette.

Which player's club would offer the most bang for our buck? We don't gamble to chase comps, we gamble for fun but if we can get something out of it that is always a bonus.

I hear CET is better for slot players

But I prefer MLife (and I have been mainly a slot player) as it is easier to understand, and they have the better resorts...

smart move take the free room, at your play depending when and whats going on they will comp u up to 5 nites , mlife nothing but reduced rates

cet is a much better choice for your play and free is always better than paying.

you can save much more and use it do gamble or do shows with

All of our comp room offers have come from CET.

Our last stay was at Harrahs and my wife was able to get 5 of the 7 days comped, Fri/Sat was a reduced rate, and her play from the previous trip was $216 lost on the slots in 4 days. Only know that because she budgeted $500 total for her gambling, $125/day, for the 4 day/3 night trip for gambling. Yes she is very disciplined with the money.

I'm not a theo guy and we definitely don't chase comps since we're more into the entertainment side of Vegas, but if it's free, we'll take it.

Thanks for the replies! Looks like we will stick to giving a majority of our bank roll to CET. I'd rather have free rooms over F&B since we use MyVegas for BOGO buffets.

I agree, CET and this is coming from a loyal MLifer . Your daily slot BR is similar to ours, and this last trip most of our play was at CET properties because I had a lot of money in RCs to use. So after eating, we would play at their casinos. This was 2weeks ago and now We already have a ton of comps on our rate calendars throughout the rest of the year.
We've played and lots thousands at Mlife properties and our offers have steadily declined there over the last few years. Their hotels are nicer but I will go where the offers are so looks like CET on our next trip!

Awesome! I agree with MLife properties being nicer. I can't help but feel pulled toward them for that reason! DH doesn't care and would stay at The Quad if I'd allow. :O

On my first trip ever to Vegas in 2009 I stayed in a Flamingo GO room and it wasn't bad at all. As long as I have a clean, modern-ish room, and a decent pool I'm happy.
