Has anyone visit the O'Sheas yet inside the Quad? I am going to vegas memorial weekend and am planning on visiting the O'Sheas to check it out and play slots by there listening to the band in the evening on one of the nights. I gained interest by seeing pictures of the leprechaun with people, green beer, and also beer pong. Also bands play there too and I can be on a slot machine right outside the door of O'Sheas and listen to the band at the same time. I also want to know how the beer pong works there if we play with strangers or with friends and the cost. I am not sure if I will be with friends or by myself. I have friends who are on the same softball team as me (in vegas for a softball tournament) that are actually staying at the quad and I do not know if they are going to do it or not and it depends on their plans.

Anyone know how much the beer pong games are there? Also if I am on a machine right outside the door of the O'Sheas, will I get free green beer? and how good are the bands there? I heard there is a real good slot right outside the door multiplayer that I can listen to the band at the same time as playing if I am with friends or by myself and I would like to know how that pays too. I want to have the best fun I can have this year in vegas.

I just came back from Vegas. O'Shea's was great. They have about 4 beer pong tables and the live band is right next to the tables.
O'Shea's has a great party atmosphere and the waitresses are smoking hot.
The craps tables were always crowded day and night.

There's a bar outside of O'Shea's facing the Linq as well. They have security guards on the premises in case anything gets out of hand.

I don't know how much the games are, someone else will have to chime in.

The live band plays while every one else is doing their thing. It sort of all meshes together.

You can walk from Flamingo and the Quad to O'Shea's and the Linq, it's all the connected.

I wasn't able to see Lucky as he's there at various times. I asked the security guard if i could take some pics of the inside but he politely said no. I onlt have pics from the outside which will be included in the TR.

Thank you for the great review, I am excited to go check it out as well as all the other awesome places around there too like the LINQ. There is also a big wheel there, but that is expensive to go on and its like an hour ride. If I was going to pay to go on a ride, it would be a roller coaster. did you play any of the slot machines right outside the door of the O'Sheas entrance? I heard they put the big titan machine right by there and unsure what else is there other than what I saw in the article about the grand opening. I am hoping the machines right by the entrance pay enough where I can stay on the machines and listen to the band at the same time. I have pretty good luck on the titan at my local casinos, but unsure how it will pay in vegas.

I have no idea how to play craps by the way...I have even tried free lessons and still cannot understand it, so I stick to slots. A lot easier and a lot less thinking to just play slots.

The Wheel will come down in price especially during the daytime. It lasts about 35 minutes.

I didn't notice any slot machines in O'Shea's. The entrance into O'Shea's from the Linq didn't have anything other than the outside bar (which is part of O'Shea's). There are 2 main bars inside across from one another along with a few beer pong tables and the Live band set. Then you have the table games in the middle.

The Linq is a great place to hang out, eat and drink, shop, tale pics, etc.
The only negative is that there really isn't a place to sit (other than the outdoor venues) or on the circular fountain. They need to install park benches in between the shops. It's a cobbled stone street and a slim walkway in front of the shops, but the curbs are too low to sit on.
The space in between the shops have plenty of room for park benches (like they have at the outside of Paris facing Planet Hollywood.

If you are expecting the OShea's of old you will be disappointed. It's now just a small area with (as described above) beer pong, bar, a few table games. The whole Linq area is kind of cool but I don't know that I'd make a special effort to go there after I've been there once. I enjoyed seeing Brooklyn Bowl and Yardhouse, other than that it's the usual mix of shopping (no thanks) and a few other bars.

There are no slots in new O'Shea's. Its tiny with beer pong tables, a bar, a very small stage and some table games. But its connected to the Quad and there are a few banks of machines just outside O'Shea's where you can hear and listen to the live music. It's tiny but its pretty nice.

I wasn't impressed, but like Vegas Vic said, I was disappointed because I was comparing it to the old place, where we use to have loads of fun with great table mates and spend hours gaming there in a very very relaxed environment.

And they forgot bathrooms and a cashier at new O'sheas. Don't wait too long because the bathrooms aren't that close inside the Quad.

A little misinformation in this thread, as there are SOME slot machines. There is a massive $1 machine right at the front entrance and then a couple of small ones in the back corner. Still, no more than 5.

But if you want slots, you can buy one of the O'sheas $6 beers and just walk to the massive slot area in the quad, which is attached. You can still here the the live band from the slot area on most occasions.

I heard a rumour that the place that leased the area beside O'sheas backed out, and that there was a chance O'sheas would pick it up and use the extra space, which they'd be wise to do. Place was packed every time I Was there.

you can get the blue moon, for sure, comped while playing the slot machines in the quad. whether they also offer as comp drinks to slot players the other microbrews or green beer, i am not sure.

while the band is loud while in osheas, i would think you would have to be awfully close to the door, within the quad, to hear only the band and not the sound track playing in the quad.

Isn't there a machine 30 feet from the O'Sheas entrance? I saw in an article of the grand opening of the Quad and O'Sheas that they have the titan 360 machine right there 30 feet from the entrance and you can hear the band while playing on it. How well can you hear from there?

IIRC, the beer pong was basically run the same way you would see a pool table run in your local bar. Winners stay on the table and there is a sign up board. Challengers bring two pitchers of beer (or whatever it takes to fill the cups) and fresh cups.

Oh ok, thank you for letting me know. I love playing pool too, wish there were pool tables there.

How much are the pitchers of beer and fresh cups, so I can be prepared on what I need to make sure I have with me and know what not to spend on the slots while waiting my turn outside the entrance. We can purchase the beer and cups at the O'Sheas too right?

When you say they are connected do you mean that O'Sheas is part of the Quad? Meaning you can get rated on you TR card playing at O'Sheas? Loved the old place and looking forward to checking out the new one...with expectations appropriately lowered.

I checked out the quad memorial weekend and did not bother going into the o'sheas because it was packed when I went memorial weekend Friday night. I came in through the entrance next to harrahs and found it right away, but then was looking for a particular slot I was looking for by the video poker slots and then I was told it got moved to the entrance of casino from Las Vegas blvd. Then I walked past the game of life and found more tables and really loud rapping dance music. I wonder where it was coming from if it was outside or where but the music was really good and made me want to dance :). Then before leaving had to play the big titan machine, got the bonus ring 3 times, and a $300 win off free spins. I also saw someone hit a hand pay on china shores free games.

There were also people singing at the tables, really loud too.

O'Sheas was a disappointment.....too small & usually so crowded you can barely walk thru. Didn't see any slots at all. It is definitely a party place and most of the 20 somethings seemed to be near the stage of passing out. Just walking thru, some refused to move at all to let us thru & several were spilling drinks just trying to stand up. It reminded me of the movie "Animal House"....lol. Once was enough for us...
