We love Harrah's Cherokee and stay there for every year the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving on the way to visit our daughter in South Carolina. We've thought about taking a weekend trip there sometime, but on the calendar it always shows the weekends as sold out. Not just for the next few weeks, but for as far out as the calendar goes. Is this place really that popular they're totally booked for every weekend?

If you call the hotel they put Diamond players up in comp rooms in other area hotels when they are full but this won't show up in the TR website. They are an odd bunch CET basically manages the casino for the tribe. I know my LV host can't get me tickets for "sold out" concerts there where he can about anywhere else.

It has been like that for years; we can usually get comped at all but Caesar's for 5 nights, but maybe a handful of weekends will come up at Cherokee. We have used Marriott pts. for the Fairfield Inn across the street, and despite play at Cherokee, comped rooms don't come up that much.
The walk across the street to the casino takes about the same time to get to the casino as it would from some rooms on property.
