Not sure if this should be here or on the Strip hotels board, but I will be using RCs to pay for my room come MDW. I have read that with other things (meals being the most common) that when you pay with RCs that taxes are waived. Is that also true for hotel rooms?

    TIA

1st time I've seen this question! We do not pay for rooms, always comped but sure hope someone on here has experienced this and can respond.

That's the other part of what I am dealing with, one of the 3 nights will be comped. I got the TR Visa, so Platinum status = no resort fees, plus the bonus RCs were nice. I have enough RCs to cover everything including taxes and then some, was just curious.
