I was at the Aria 2 weekends ago and I spoke to a host when I was leaving. Since I was booked under someone else, they said next time I will have my room comped. I emailed him last week since I will be back in July. I have only heard from him once asking for my mlife number. I don't care that he did that, but it's been a week without anything happening.

Any recommendations on a host there? I would rather have someone that's responsive and not take a week.

I do remember one guy that I wish I had gotten his card. When I was opening my line he was asking me questions from another desk and said if he could do anything to let him know. He seemed big, like tall and muscular, not fat. Wore glasses. Bad description but worth a shot.

    Thanks in advance.

I didn't even think about the fight...

2 days of play, confirmed 12 hours of play at $200 a hand at bj. I ended up about $1500 but idk how much was from my few roulette spins that weren't rated.

thanks , too low for my host,
most of the host where all tide up with high rollers for the last few days.

aria hl was up 1000$ a hand for bj on saturday nite for the fight

if somebody here doesnt have a recomendation , just cold call till you get a good response.

thats the number there looking for .

200$ for 4 hours a day, so you will get free rooms . then the rest will come from your relationship with your host.

i lost around 30 grand at aria in 2 days this weekend.

email back the other guy notsure when ur planing on going but if its not soon give him time. they also have 2 days off a week and your new to him.

the reason he needed ur mlife number is to see your play and see what comps he could give you, its standard pratice.
    good luck

Yep, pretty much what Paper said is correct.

Sadly, 200avg for 12 hours is low for Aria.. you'll get better benefits at say MGM or Mirage. I was low 200s my first two trips, barely got anything. Not to be rude, I would recommend you to do is go see a host before you check to maximize what you can get at that type of play instead of having a host.

I completely understand about my lower play. I just didn't like how someone said they would do something and have been unresponsive. I'll wait a few more days then cold call up there.

    Thanks

Not to hijack my own theead but I'm staying at the MGM next weekend. If I play between $150-$200 for 8 hours what could I expect? All black jack again.

Eight hours a day? Or eight hours spread over multiple days?

Spread over 2 days. Going for a bachelor party do it will be more of a partying trip than gambling.

I would think somewhere between $800-1200 worth of comps.

    maybe a free room.

i was just playing 5 hours at 450$ an hour and got shot down for most stuff including free show tickets so lost my bussiness and i had no hotel to cover

mgm is looking for 150-200 a hand in bj for 4 hours just to cover the room..

so assume your paying for your room up front, your comps will really depend if you loss. if you walk away up 10 grand they will not do much for you, they will tell you to use ec comps and take some of at the end and say call us next time will comp your stay.

but if your down 10 grand you will have a better chance to get some descrotionary comps.

Just so I understand you, my play won't get my room comped on the back end, but my losses will?

going by what you said you play 150-200 a hand for 8 hours in 2 days but were going to play less due to your party so lets say 4 hours. we all know how those partys are.

you get more in descretionary comps if you lose than win that is true.

also they already have you there and you payed for your room so less incentive.

they also give you ec so you are given comps to use.

will they take stuff off yes but if you lose you will get more taken of than if you win.

also they will say your welcome to come back on a 3 nite comp stay next time.

so they have ways around of fully wipping out your bill and deppending if its a weekend and whats going on and you hotel rates , theres alot of factors on how much they will comp becuase you dont have a relationship with a host yet.

hope you understand your play is around the minuim level expected at mgm for rooms

also depends on the host you speak to and there mood. there pretty good in feeling there costomers out.

i took me 2 differnt host at aria before i got one that wanted my play and caried, trial and error

you will read that all the time here people asking to switch host , how to , . i had cet host took 2 days call me back and never called back after to answer the question i asked him so i found a new one who is really good.

Thanks Paper. Last time was 12 hours, this time I'm projecting 8... But I see what you are saying. This is the start of my degenerate career...
I'm also assuming hosts take me less serious because I'm 25, but maybe I can get in good with one. Thanks for all your help.

age wont matter, just how you carry yourself ,they read people thats there job.
i know plenty 25 year old millioniars.hey i made it way before 30th birthday.

look at me i cant write , have no grammer , but money is still green and i didnt need those skills in my life for work.

    good luck.

wait a week then email him back if no response , just cold call i have a name of a host but she was terrible otherwise i would offer it to you.

they will look at your play tell them you where just there and host said you play qualify for rooms up front from my last trip . see how that goes .

if its no problem i take of your on your way if he said no move one.its only a phone call.

but if they do the right thing , try to stop by and thank him in person.

    good luck report back.

Weazel, I think the free room is a good estimate. With that play, you're probably not going to generate more than $400 in comps, tops. That should be enough for a room unless it is a big event weekend. Have fun!
