I used to feel you had a fighting chance with the Blackjack game and could double some chip counts fairly quickly. But wow, they have really tightened that game up! I just dropped 50K on five 10K bets where the dealer had 4 blackjacks and a 20 to beat me! LOL I came back later placed two more bets and it beat me with a dealer blackjack and a 21...argh! Has anyone else notice how hard it's gotten to win when placing higher bets in the past few months?

I think I lost every hand I played in a 6 shoe deck at $10 limit at Horseshoe Southern Indiana lost $200 so must have been 20 hands in a row. 7 in a row losses or wins is not that rare.

Pretty much anybody who has played live blackjack can tell you a dozen worse stories.

Haha... maybe I've just been lucky all my life, but when I've played live Blackjack I haven't seen the dealer get 4 blackjacks in a row. :)

Okay, I'll admit five dealer blackjacks in a row is pretty unusual.

But yet last night I was able to take 300k chips and turn it into 1 million playing blackjack. I was hitting doubledowns like crazy.

Funny I have been kicking a$$ in blackjack on myVEGAS lately. Up to close to 2mil chips at one point. Folks talk about the sweet spot in the slot games, I think 30k per bet is the sweet spot in this game.

I always seem to be on a losing streak in myvegas BJ, so I stick with slots...

    Blackjacks rigged

I lost 300 k in less than 15 mins playing 20 k a hand. Lost around 8 out of 10 hands and was lucky just to push. I also play by the book. I do not play blackjack anymore.

49,500, imo, if you have > 5 million chips. Especially on double LP level up days.

As for streaks, I'm a a decent one. My chips definitely last a long longer than slots playing this. Drawback is that you have to actually play the game instead of just going into zombie mode.

I think it's gotten tighter as well -- not sure how they would do that, other than making it non-random -- but with such a small sample size, who knows?

Even when I am winning the game seems off to me. There are too many small cards. Sometimes I wonder if a standard strategy can work on this game, or if data should be collected to see if it is somehow different from playing with a six deck shoe.

When on a bad streak, hit the 'New Game' button. Sometimes this helps.

I've noticed some quirks in the game. When I'm playing only one hand, and the dealer has a 2 showing, the dealer draws to a 20 or 21 about 70% of the time. But when I'm playing multiple hands, the dealer doesn't draw such good hands with his 2 showing, busting much more frequently.

Also, I feel like the dealer has a 10 under his ace more frequently when I'm playing only one hand.

My wife hasn't played on her account in the last month or more. I played BJ on her account during the last double LP day and took her from 500,000 chips to 1.4 million in about 90 minutes. But it's not always roses. I've also lost over 1,000,000 in a single session playing BJ on my account.

I personally don't think it's random. I'm not one of "those" guys who thinks it's all rigged. I've gambled online for real money and played hundreds and hundreds of hours of online poker.

Since MyVegas came out and said that the bonus games etc are all predetermined, i'm led to believe that the BJ game is the same. I hope that i'm wrong.

+1 on that viewpoint! Played it earlier and lost the first 8 hands playing b.s.
I pushed the 9th and 10th hands and won only the 11th hand. Out of 20 more hands I only won around 8 more. I was only playing 1 hand at a time and seem to have better luck doing two hands.

I've played a lot of blackjack, and the myvegas blackjack seems exactly like normal S17 CSM blackjack. You'll go on hot streaks and cold streaks.

I'd be shocked if a game linked to MGM casinos would rig blackjack, that would mean some serious bad publicity if it got out. Especially since the technology is definitely there to rig a real blackjack game if they wanted to (check out how the pai gow shuffle machine works sometime).

Dutchvelvet is right, the pai gow tables can show exactly what you and every person at the table has. I wouldn't think it would be worth it publicity wise for MGM to rig an online blackjack game.

Interesting that so many people have trouble with it. The slots drain my chips like it's going out of style, but Blackjack is much kinder. I had quite a crazy day with the double LP level ups. Started out with 200k and was at 1 million at one point. Ended with about 350k. Earned about 35k in LP so I think it was a good haul.
