I was told vdara gives you two bottles of comp water every day. Is this true. Yes I realize its not comp with those resort fees. But I dont wanna drink a water and end up paying big bucks for it in addition to the fees already

WHAT IS THE RESORT FEE AND WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
A daily Resort Fee of $28 (tax inclusive) is posted to each guest room to offer amenities and services for a nominal all-inclusive fee. Please note the inclusions you receive for this charge: High-speed internet service in your room & public areas, unlimited local and toll free calls, daily newspaper pickup at Front Desk or Market Cafe, two bottles of Vdara water in guest room refrigerator per day, access to the fitness facility, boarding pass printing services in the Business Center, and nightly turn-down service, upon request only.

The resort fee includes access to the gym. They have free water in the gym as well.

Leave a note for housekeeping for additional water, coffee, laundry detergent....they'll do it.

The valet would always have complementary waters left out so you can always stock up there

There's also a water dispenser in the refrigerators. It's very useful for the Keurig coffee machines...

You can also stock up on cheap drinks at either Walgreens or the ABC Store (slightly inside the PHo mall), on the other side of the strip. Call it a 20 min walk maximum.

Yup, we used the water every day. Housekeeping will give you water off the cart too.

Oh and even tho' it has no casino, Vdara has the best base rooms on the strip. I chose the one with the 2 TVs and partition.

    Vdara offers/comps

Has anyone received any type room comp offers from the Vdara? I am aware that Vdara is non-gaming, but would gaming activity on Mlife properties earn those comps?

It's not really 'comped' often per-se, because I think they'd rather you be in a place with a casino to get your cash faster. However, I have good rates there. You should call Aria VIP services.

Not sure about up front comps, since I don't play enough to rate much. However, when we picked up an Mlife card at the Aria desk, after having advised we were staying at the Vdara, the rep told us to come back before check out to see if they could take anything off the bill. We didn't actually get around to it due to a minor snafu that took us right to the checkout deadline. They probably would have just used my EC. So, yeah, definitely check w/Aria VIP. :)

    Yep!

In a lot of casinos if you just ask they usually have waters, I remember always being offered at check in.. and at valets at most properties in town. Especially when it's very hot.

I've gotten the semi regular discounted room offers from being a member of their email list. Also received one each time after I stayed, offering a discounted next stay.

The pricing on mlife for me is usually a bit better than their public offers -- just a few percentage points. I'm not a big gambler on the strip, so YMMV.
