Coming up my next trip, I am staying at 4 hotels for 11 days:

1 night: Monte Carlo (I could either fly in Sunday at 7am, or Saturday evening. Decided to use a MyVegas reward for a night)

2 nights: Encore (1 night comped)

3 nights: Paris (all nights comped. We are meeting up with my in-laws for a few days, and they are staying nearby)

5 nights: Cosmo (nothing at all comped, but buying myself a nice terrace studio for the time).

Am I crazy? How many different places have you stayed in a trip?

Just one, my wife hates moving and repacking. I guess I'm not a big fan of it either.

A long time ago I stayed at Caesar's for a couple days and then moved to the Mirage, but no fan of wasting valuable Vegas time changing properties and have never done it again.

We stayed at 3 different hotels this last trip. We had a rental car so it made it easier to get place to place but still would probably never do it again.

My biggest complaint was never being able to settle in and repack all of our bags. By our 4th night we were pretty burnt out and ready to head home which isn't common for us.

    3 - a few times over a week( 4 moves)...Venetian/Palazzo > Rio> Gold Coast> Rio. One extreme to the other but comped.
Sure miss those mid-week V/P low-roller offers from a few years ago..

And I think it's a great plan.Fountain Fiend...11 nights in LV and paying for only 5? And no moving on the back end of trip is a plus.Have a great trip!

I've stayed at 13 Resorts on the Strip multiple times.
I've done a 2 resort split on 3 different occasions.

    Aria/Venetian

For December 2009 Trip it was at least 5 actually stayed in, with a few double bookings on the side for comps:

    Encore
    Bellagio
    Palazzo
    Planet Hollywood
Aria (included a move from regular deluxe room to sky suites penthouse)

    also had booked:

    Gold Coast
    Riviera

I believe I did pass out for one night in that Gold Coast room, so I guess I slept in 7 actual different rooms.

I’ve done two hotels before, but never “on purpose”. (Both times I was stuck in LV due to weather/mechanical issues and had already checked out of my hotel.) Of course, my trips are never longer than four nights, so I would need a big incentive in order to justify the hassle and wasted time.

If I were to stay longer than a week though, I would probably consider it as I think it might be fun to change up the “feel” of the trip (and my bankroll and liver would probably appreciate the “wasted time” not spent gambling or boozing).

I actually have two hotels booked for my next trip in order to collect a nice freeplay offer from Cosmo. It's possible that I might crash at Cosmo one night if I end up gambling/drinking there until the wee hours and don't feel like heading all the way back to Wynn. But I won't actually "move" there.

In the early years....due to only 2-3 nites being comped.....we stayed in 2 hotels free for our 6 nite trip. I think this happened once or twice -wasn't bad but really like to stay at only 1 property. For many years we have gotten 5-6 free nites at any CET hotel & that is what we do.....getting old, I guess....lol

I do it all the time. 2 or 3 nights at an MGM prop then 3 at TI and finish at another MGM prop. One of them is almost always the Mirage so getting from Mirage to TI isn't bad and then I have a stay at the other end of the strip as well. I do this to use comp offers to oblige the MGM 72 hour between stays rule. Having limo service from MGM and a few bucks to tip the bellman makes it pretty easy since I don't have to touch the luggage. Not sure I would want to do this by taxi and dragging the bags myself through the giant casino floors.

Just one. We tend to find a base and stay there. Of course, we don't come in for week-long stays either. Then I could see moving to take advantage of deals.

Once stayed at a different hotel on the same trip because my flight was canceled. Otherwise, I don't want to move around.

I prefer not to move around much if I'm traveling solo. If the husband is along, he's good at being a pack mule and carries everything for me. :wink2:

One trip years ago I stayed in 5 hotels in 5 nights. I would not recommend that. It was awful. I even packed super light so I just had a small roller suitcase and my tote. It was back when tons of hotels were opening and I wanted photos of the rooms of several of them for the board. The things I suffer through for you guys. :haha:

We once did Aria/Vdara/Mandarin on one three-night trip. We've done plenty of twofers. Had another trip years ago going from Sam's to Rio to TI over eight or 10 nights. Also did THE/MB/Four Seasons. Skylofts/West Wing … THAT was bizarre. But mostly, we just prefer to stay put if we can. Once you figure out that in Vegas a casino is a casino is a casino, the bounce impulse wears off and it's nice to settle in where you like to hang your hat.

Craziest was 10 places on four Hawaiian islands across 18 nights.

2 nights at Paris followed by 3 nights at MGM Grand. That was only due to a host's error at MGM. Typically stay at one property.

I'm kicking this around for my next trip splitting MC and aria. I have no problems checking my suitcase, but not sure how I'd feel about leaving my laptop bag with iPad, beats headphones, etc... Nor do I really want to carry it for however many hours before room is ready either...

Tell bell services you want to lock a bag. They took us back, we locked it and we had the only key.

We did 3 hotels this last trip. First time i have changed hotels somewhere. I don't mind 2 but 3 was a little much. It wasn't even a hassle, just the packing up lol.

We come from the uk so our trips are longer than most.

July last year back when the myvegas game still did 2 nights in suites

1 night luxor on mlife comp
    2 nights golden nugget laughlin
2 nights Mandalay Bay great room suite - myvegas comp
2 nights nyny spa suite - myvegas comp
5 nights golden nugget downtown in the rush tower. Mostly comped on checkout.

July this year we are doing
2 nights M Resort (never stayed but figure a nice place to get onto vegas time and over the jet lag)
6 nights mgm signature (less than $700 inc taxes and resort fees due to 25% off early booking offer).we are using our my vegas comps for shows and food this year.
4 nights golden nugget downtown in the rush tower (the gambling portion of trip)

I always hotel hop. Usually it's because I either want to check out different sections of the strip or because the rates are cheaper. This upcoming trip (my first in 5 years) I have 7 nights free..

First 2 nights at Aria (MyVegas)
Next 2 nights at Caesars (family friend gave us a free 2 night gift card)
Last 3 nights at Mandalay (MyVegas).

I like to hotel hop but I would prefer only doing it twice per trip and maybe staying mid strip for half the trip and wherever else the second half. I can't complain though, 7 free nights in beautiful hotels!
