Does anyone have 2 or 3 recommendations for "girlie" drinks or martini's not to miss out on at both Cosmo and Caesar's? Also, are any available while playing slots in the casino floor (though not a requirement)?

    Thanks!

The Chandelier at Cosmo has a couple girly cocktails I've tried and really enjoy. "Lime in the Coconut" is, as you can guess, strong on lime/coconut flavors. They also have a "Kentucky Girl Scout" which tastes like booze and Thin Mints. It's pretty awesome.

Well, Duh...a lemon drop martini at the Bond bar ;)

Also, my wife had this Godiva chocolate martini (again the Bond bar), she said something about "Dying for it"...

Also if you like Full bodied wines, try Mother's Milk Shiraz, also at the Bond Bar!

In general, just go to the Bond Bar, they have a cocktail menu, slide a few $20's into the bar tops and enjoy $14-$17 drinks all day!

Bag the chocolate. The Cosmo at the Chandelier Bar in Cosmo is to die for.

Drink menu just changed. I had the New Wave and it was pretty good. There was a really good DJ at Bond on the Friday we went and he teamed up with a guitar player who played along and just really took songs like Calvin Harris "Feels so Close" and that "Summertime Sadness" song to another level. They were very entertaining.

    GChrome knows what's up!

This is what me and the wife do on every trip to Vegas. Go to Bond Bar and start playing $1 level (slooowly) on the bartop slots. Then we start sampling everything on the menu all of which are comped! Seeing as how their signature drinks are around $15'ish this method is a no-brainer. After the bartender checks what level you are playing they rarely check again. So play low and slow if that's your thing.

The best drinks at Bond aren't even on the menu. You want something that will blow you away? Simple. Ask the mixologist what is their specialty (like what is their favorite drink to make). They all have a drink under their belt which is oftentimes not on the menu. They will probably ask you what liquors you enjoy to get an idea of what to make (rum-based, vodka-based, etc). When you give those guys (or gals) free reign to concoct something out of the ordinary they never disappoint. Best drinks I have ever had anywhere and all were pretty much free as long as I was playing the slots. Be sure to tip a few bucks per drink too.

Used the same method at Book and Stage (also in Cosmo). One guy made a drink for me that was his specialty and he warned me, "You want to sip this. Don't chug it." The other bartender nodded his head in agreement. Dude wasn't kidding. That drink was potent as hell but very pleasant and tasty. Couldn't even tell you what was in it (other than one of the liquors was aged over 30 years) but I will say I could only do one of those. Nice mellow buzz off of that one.

So drop a few dollars into the bartop slots in Cosmo and chat up the bartender. They will mix up something killer for ya.

p.s. We have found that if you go during off-peak hours that the bartenders have more time to talk to you and the drink experience is even better.

I'd love to do that and try out some of their drinks...I just know that my comped cocktail would quickly turn into a $100 cocktail.....

I hear ya. One time I was hanging at the Bond playing the bartops and I was putting away the fancy drinks left and right (comped of course). I remember a group of people coming in and buying a round of tequila shots. I about freaked when I overheard their tab was around $60 for ONE ROUND of shots. My tab was a big fat ZERO at the end of a 2 hour slot session and I broke even on the video poker. Can't argue that logic.

We love to go to Cosmo, usually hit up the Queue bar and like Shanecrow said, if you ask them to make you something creative they will ask what you generally like and concoct something for you. One of the bartenders, Shea, made us the most delicious vodka/blood orange/something creation that was awesome and strong. At that bar we've never been asked to play more than full play quarters to have all our drinks comped. LOVE the cocktails at Cosmo!

Man I always forget to go to the Queue Bar. Gonna hit that place up next time. I hear its the perfect place to people watch because the entrance to Marquee is so close to the bar.

I will second this, friend and I just experienced the exact thing around 4pm on a Friday last week - bartenders were chatty and more than happy to talk about their different liquors, their favorite drinks, etc. We played BJ at the .25 level and drinks were comped.
