I understand completely. For us, it was a celebration just to not see more snow in the daily forecast. 85 inches was enough ....
I am not tempting fate. I'm giving it until May 1st before I run the snowblower out of gas and put it away. Although, about 25 years ago we got a freak storm on May 10th, that dumped up to 8 inches of heavy wet snow. The leaves were already out and all that weight broke a ton of tree limbs.
The damn wind affected my approach shots on 4, 10 and 16 on Friday. I can't believe I endure this crap.
However, I imagine the fairways are getting dry with that California drought, and your drives are really rolling out ....
We're getting at least some seasonal rain so things are looking pretty good, and where we are we aren't hostage to the state system. It's dry, no doubt, but the effects in CA vary so dramatically regionally.
Hah Well lah de dah, Ken. I went out yesterday and bought a new golf bag and cart, so there!:Þ Won't be able to get out until I get back from Vegas.
New gear. Always cool!! My excitement is new grips on the way. Oh, and it's 80-freakin-6 here today. Phew. I thought we'd moved away from the desert.
I have been in a golf league for the last 6 years. We start the 2nd week in April, really its Montana. Past 2 years first week canceled do to weather. Last week played 30 mph winds. Guys would like it moved up a month, but the gray beards say nah.
Was in the high 40's here today Cloudy, damp, windy almost like march ,but it's still better than those poor people down south getting hit with tornadoes.
