Seems the Venetian tightened up room comps

I stay at the V 3-4 times a year for the past 3 years. Have always received free room offers Sun-Thurs. Mainly poker and about $3,000 craps during stays.

Called today and told no offers available... Guess I'll be looking for a new casino...

Also nobody can check their Grazie website since the major breach a few months ago.. I don't know what is up there... this was probably a rather large and expensive disaster for them..

When was the last time you went?

I've also stayed 3-4x per year. I called last week and was offered nothing. It's a shame, cause I like the room layouts.

It's so weird. It's been a while now since the hacking and the website still doesn't have any section on gaming or Grazie. There isn't even any mention of a casino. If you didn't know any better and went to their site you'd never know they even had a casino. I think the restaurant section is also largely removed. I seem to recall being able to view menus but now it's just a list of restaurants and their hours. Nothing to click on, nothing descriptive, it's like a phone book.

It has been my experience that the Venetian is the tightest property on the strip with comps.

The Venetian website looks like something I would expect of a smaller Marriott hotel not the 9th largest hotel in the world (2nd largest if you count Palazzo as well).

The dining section is particularly bad, no links to menus or the individual restaurants sites. It's baffling that this is still going on and it raises questions about the decision-making processes going on at Sands.

I just got an offer from V/P for 3 nights comped plus freeplay/resort credit. I played there 1-2 months ago. It may be a teaser since it was my first time playing.
