    Favorites are Bruins and Ducks.

I could be tempted to put a hundo on the Canadiens.

    My Flyers are going nowhere.

Penguins will flame out in the second round. Wish there was a bet for that.

I'd love to see a Montreal vs. Chicago final.

Will likely see a Colorado vs. Boston final.

    I got the B's

I got the Bruins at 9-1 last fall. Looking good if they can get by the Wings w/o a knock down drag out 7 game series.
If this series goes 7 the B's will not will the Cup.

    Coach of the year NHL

Got to be Sir Patrick. Got the Av's rolling and back to their winning ways and from what I've seen through plain old fashioned hard work and balls. The rookie coach pulled his goalie with 8 min left and capitalized. The same old, same old, recycled coaches would never do that. I hope the Bruins beat them in 7.
What are the odds on a coach getting in a fight???? Vegas ? Lourdes?

I am sticking with my Rangers in the East ( if they can beat the GOON FLYERS which now will be a 7 game WAR after the 2nd period debacle yesterday) vs the Bruins ( and most of their series being WARS---ESP if they play the Canadiens) with Bruins going to the Cup.

The west I see really more open. I said awhile when the Blues made the big trade to get Miller they would be in the SC finals. I will still stick to that. Otherwise I was KINDA leaning to the Sharks but can almost make an argument for all the other teams in the opposite bracket ( might be toughest for the Wild) facing the Blues.

    East: Bruins!
Canadiens got very lucky vs Lightning (Goalie injured; Refs).

    West: who knows :Þ

    CBJ Blew it

The CBJ blew their once chance at an upset tonight. 3 goals in the 3rd. Really? Hopes gone, dreams dashed.

Need more games to go to overtime... the first round is usually pretty good for that, but not this year :(

My heart wants a Canadiens/Avalanche final. My reason tells me that it will probably be a Bruins/Sharks final.

Yeah I know: why the Sharks? Because with all those years they were supposed to go all the way... If they don't this year then they never will :evillaugh

To the Red Wings: win another game so the Habs will have a full week break before the WAR against the Bruins! LET'S GO RED WINGS!

    Blackhawks

    How about them Blackhawks !!!!
We were really worried when they lost both of the first two games in OT. But they really turned in on after that ... and that 3rd period of the final game today was just a slaughter with 4 goals.

CONGRATS to the 'Hawks !!!! Rest up boys ... you earned it !!

It helps when your first round opponent is a perennial playoff choker. They are battling the Leafs for the "Cubs of the NHL". :grrr: The Leafs probably win on fan base and overall season performance, meh. At least it saves me worrying about how to rationalize spending $500+/each on Cup Final tickets with money I really don't have.

Please beat the crap out of Roy though; screw that guy.

The Leafs have to actually get into the playoffs in order to choke in the playoffs.

Well, the Blues had to be doing something right to earn their record in this year's regular season.
