What do you like to wear in Vegas? How would you describe your typical Vegas style? Any different from your day-to-day? :peace:

For me, comfort is key. I bring tees, jeans, yoga pants, sneakers, sandals (broken in), ballet flats.

For an evening out, I usually have a maxi dress with a shrug or a denim jacket - appropriately accessorized of course!

Shorts and a t-shirt. When I'm gonna "class" it up for dinner I put on a good t-shirt.

I fly wearing casual slacks (think Dockers), a dress-shirt & sport-coat. The sport-jacket is the male equivalent to a woman's purse - all of the pockets allow you to carry a lot and avoid having to bring an actual "carry-on"...car-keys, cell-phone, paperback book, boarding passes, altoids, gum, e-cig, real cigs, lighter, kleenex, & off-site airport parking card (showing what space you've parked in).

While in Vegas, I'm usually jeans and a casual button-down shirt (think 'flannel'), with hiking boots.

If it's a bit chilly out, it's a dress-shirt with the jacket - everything else is the same.

Shorts and a tshirt. It's what I wear at home when it's warm - not changing it when I go on vacation.
I don't go to places where you have to dress up, tho.

Daytime - Shorts, usually w/ cargo pockets (all year 'round) Hawaiian shirt (puts me in and keeps me in a party mood) Top Siders w/o socks.

Nighttime - (if going to dinner or a show) nice slacks, nice button down shirt.
(if no dinner or show - refer to Daytime) ;)

Come on, I'm a lifestyle writer working from a home office. When I go to Vegas I dress up. Shorts stay, T-shirt goes in favor of a golf shirt, Sanuks or slippahs on my feet. If the show or restaurant or setting indicates, I'll don slacks and at times a sport coat, shirt-type matched appropriately. I've had a tie on a few times.

I "dress up" every day so in Vegas I like to be comfortable and casual.

Day: if not at the pool I am usually in shorts and a cute top with flip flops

Night: dress or skirt, wedges, flat sandals if the feet hurt...

I buy about 95% new clothes for Vegas and this year 100% since I lost a little over 15lbs

I wear shorts and golf shirts during the day. At night, slacks and camp shirts. I love camp shirts for Vegas. Very cool in the hot weather and still a little dressy looking. Plus they can be bright and fun.

I usually rebel against people being too casual in dressy places. But Vegas seems different. Even the fanciest restaurants, guys show up in jeans and a tee shirt. Maybe the restaurant is afraid to toss them out because they might be high rollers. On cruises, I hate people that flaunt the dress code. I still bring my tux for the formal night and will wear a suit and tie or Jacket and tie almost every night. But not Vegas

Usually jeans/t-shirt through the day , evening similar or maybe a shirt . We are going in Sept this year (our previous trips have been Feb) so may have to change to wearing shorts or 3/4 lengths during the day .

Once a trip we will dress up for dinner and I will wear a nice pair of trousers/shirt, that night will be close to our hotel as all of my dress shoes (and my wifes) are not designed for walking far.

Shorts/jeans, t-shirts/turtlenecks, sandals/comfy shoes (depending on the time of year). Sometimes I bring a dress or skirt in the summertime, or if I know we're going to see a show or to a fancy restaurant, which is practically never.

Usually wear black dress pants and a dress shirt on my flights in and out of Las Vegas... While I'm there, I normally wear shorts and golf shirts during the day then black dress pants and nice dress shirts at night... If I'm doing well at the tables, then I stay in shorts and the golf shirt!

Shorts and tee shirts during the day. Tee shirts are great conversation starters. Camp shirts or Hawaiian shirts at night. A pair of Dockers and a nice polo shirt if I'm planning something slightly upscale. Phillies, Flyers or Eagles ball caps (worn the right way, not backwards!!!)

LOL, the topic of this thread is reminiscent of the old alt.fashion newsgroup. :)

In recent years, just everyday casual, both for day and evening, except maybe for a nicer show or restaurant. LOL, my big dress-up evening on a recent trip (it was still quite cool) was darker jeans and a turtleneck, instead of a tee and a big shirt. :)

Now years ago, when I first started visiting Las Vegas it was a much different dress code. Casual for daytime, but in the evening it was a dress or nicer coordinates for the ladies and a jacket and tie for the guys.

Shorts and a nice golf shirt with comfortable Nike walking shoes. One time my buddy and I were out there and we both hit a craps game we all dream about. We had a ton of drinks afterwards and then went to the Forum shops and for some reason we bought zoot suits. I break it out every year for Halloween, but overall a pretty bad investment. Still, it was fun walking the strip and hardly getting any overt stares. Only in Vegas.........

It's sometimes useful to look a little nicer than the next guy. So I wear sweats and tees only in early morning. After breakfast, I dress better, but do not take a sport coat or tie unless there is a special occasion planned. On a recent trip, I took a dress shirt for a friend's big birthday dinner, and his daughter bought bowties for all the men. That was fun.

My wife likes to wear glittery stuff in the evenings.- stuff she would never wear here.
