I need to stay somewhere on the strip weekend of may 29th (after memorial weekend). Price seem oddly high. Can anyone tell me whats happening?

I can usually grab a room through totalrewards for under $300 for 3 nights at Ballys/PH with my offers but they are about double that.

I regularly get room offers from CET, but rarely FP. I did get an offer from them that included an unusually high amount of FP, and it's only over 2 different weekends, that being one of them.

They must be expecting big crowds to redeem the offer as they gave a set time span for pick-up of the vouchers, and they are doing it in a different designated area of the casino/hotel, I guess so as to not glut up the casino cage or total rewards counter.

Not sure, but possibly they are expecting big crowds so the fewer rooms available at the CET properties may be driving the price up!

    try May 2-3

I'm looking at the first weekend of the month and it's ridiculous. (Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo weekend and a Mayweather Fight). 600 bucks a night for Caesars might get CET out of debt in our lifetime.

I'm going that weekend as well and it looks like there is a big jewelry convention at MB that weekend, it's pushing rates up everywhere on the strip. If you think your rates are bad, check MB's rates, twice Aria's rates o_O Thank goodness my comp rooms at MB didn't have a restriction on that weekend :D

I'm going that weekend but we got our rooms early and it wasn't expensive at all.

We all got flights rt nonstop for $285 also from BWI. Early going up and midday coming back. Perfect.

I have watched the prices go up steadily since we booked in Feb.

    I don't understand why either.

I'm going that weekend too - we got our rooms early, and most of the nights were comped - but the airfare coming back (around June 2-4) is ridiculous! I can't believe that the jewelery convention is driving up the prices that weekend??? There's got to be something else going on.......

People continue to only look at OFFERS.
And folks here continue to suggest posters log in and use the RATE CALENDAR for the best prices.

of course we go the same weekend as the Jewelry Convention, its great Pearl Necklace cover! Good thing we reserved so long ago because I had heard the rates are insane.

Rack rate for 2 nights at MB (Fri & Sat) is over $1300 for the basic room, looks like I'm not getting an upgrade that weekend...

Really? My Dad's going then, they booked Hard Rock for like $50 bucks, although a few months ago... didn't recall it being expensive. Guess they lucked out!

I know, I rarely ever get anything from TR. I've never once logged in and went WOW that's a great deal. Maybe it's just me... I check every source when booking a trip. Also under $300 on a weekend, including a Friday and a Saturday? That doesn't seem likely.
