Bell Trans has a shared limo service called the VIP Shuttle. It can be booked on the Bell-Trans.com web site. $28 per person roundtrip to the strip, $38 to downtown.

Is that a limo or just a van?

    From the bell-trans.com web site:
"The VIP Shuttle is also one of the most economical forms of transportation to and from the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown areas and is a Share-A-Ride Service. Unlike the traditional shuttle the VIP Shuttle utilizes Limousines and SUVs"

Not through the website. You may be able to book 1 way by calling, but I am guessing they'd still charge you the roundtrip price (or more).

Actually I contacted Bell Trans and was told you could book one way online. The way you do it she said is dont fill in a return trip. Also you can't book less than 48hrs before you want the ride.

OK, but they'll still charge you for the round trip, right? So, might as well get what you paid for?

    One-way was like $5 with a group of 4-6???

Not sure about that one. Limos have been tarrifed for 18+ years now. Bell just got the first per person limo license.

The only reason I want a 1 way is because my first night is the Golden Nugget and then I move to the Flamingo.

Ah, I see. The good news is Bell Trans will pick you up at a different location than where you were dropped off. Note your different pick-up location in the notes when you book online, and confirm with Bell Trans when you meet them at their booth upon arrival at LAS.

    Are they prompt?

I heard stories of people having to wait around for shuttles (pick up at hotel) or having to be outside their hotel early waiting.

DO I have to wait long at the airport using this service? Once I land I want to be off as soon as possible - at least not waiting. (If it's waiting in line for a rental car that seems to be different...than if it is just waiting.

So this would go something like this? Airport to Golden Nugget, then Flamingo to Airport?

Yes, they were prompt. In fact, when I was picked up to go back to the airport, the driver was already there waiting for me.

I had to wait 10 minutes at the airport before we were off.

Yes, you would be taken from the airport to Golden Nugget (let's say on Thursday), then picked up at the Flamingo and taken to the airport (let's say on Sunday).

I've looked into using bell trans... From what I've heard they use limos, SUVs and/or town cars...and you just get what you get when they arrive. If someone knows differently please let me know I'd like to request one or the other if that's an option (right now I'm thinking it's not). I've also read many times that even though it's a "shared" service you don't always share with anyone... So chances are you could have a private ride to or from or both. It's a great price for a solo traveler IMO and ok for two... But three and up cost wise one might be better off looking into other modes of transportation.

I used the Bell Trans VIP shuttle last August and will be using it again next week. In August I did not have to share with anyone, I had a SUV there, and a town car for my return to the airport. For both trips my drop off is Aria and return pick up from Wynn, I just emailed them after making my reservation to confirm the return pick up from a different hotel.

In August I found the service to be fantastic for a solo traveller, I waited no more than 5 minutes when I arrived at the airport, and on my return, the car was already waiting for me, no need to phone to arrange the return.

If I have any issues after my next trip, I'll post them here.

I used the Bell Trans VIP Shuttle service this weekend. It was a solid experience.

My flight was delayed, and I arrived at LAS 50 minutes later than scheduled. Nevertheless, I walked out Door 9 to the Bell Trans counter and provided them with the printout of my VIP Shuttle reservation. The gentleman took my reservation printout, and asked me to wait five minutes. I stood off to the side, out of the way. Almost exactly five minutes later, I was greeted by a driver who took my bag and escorted me about 15 feet to a nice town car, and I was on the way to the Downtown Grand. Yup, even though the VIP Shuttle is a shared ride service (hence the discounted fare compared to booking your own private car), it was just me in the backseat.

On my return trip to LAS three days later, I received a confirmation e-mail 24 hours prior, and another e-mail about 20 minutes before my scheduled pickup time letting me know my driver was on the way. 7 minutes before my scheduled pick up time I received a phone call from the driver letting me know he was there. This time I had a limo, and again it was just me.

I was dropped off at Downtown Grand and picked up at The California on the same reservation with no issues. After I booked the VIP Shuttle, I just sent Bell Trans an e-mail letting them know of the slight change and they replied back with an e-mail confirmation less than 10 minutes later.

Overall this was a great experience. Much better than my first go-round with the Bell Trans VIP Shuttle. I will likely just take the WAX on my trip next month (since the flight times should coincide well with the WAX schedule), but I would certainly consider Bell Trans VIP Shuttle again if the WAX times didn't work out.
