    Fancy flip flops to shows??

I do not do well in heels at all, and frankly don't want to wear them when we go to Vegas. I have really cute flip flops with jewels all up them ... can I wear those?? I see some places say no flip flops!!!

If the rest of your attire meets the standards set, I doubt there will be a problem with your shoes. Are they really flip flops or fancy sandals?

After seeing a couple wearing matching Chicago Blackhawk jerseys at Ruth's Chris, I am pretty sure there is so such thing as a dress code in Vegas.

Sorry, but my wife wouldn't be caught dead wearing flip flops around Vegas.

I don't do flip flops (the only pair i have that would be even close are expensive sketchers) nor leather sandals but i never have a problem anywhere with really nice sandals, i brought a brand new pair for vegas and they usually aren't that expensive. Flip flops dressed up are still flip flops.

If you mean true flip flops designed for wearing at the pool, no, you probably don't want to wear them to shows even if they are blinged out. If you mean a dressy thong sandal, go ahead. I don't wear heels and the thong style sandal works best for me. I wear them with dressy outfits all the time and never look out of place. That being said, there are no dress codes for shows. You would only have a real problem in clubs. People are only likely to dress up for the top tier shows anyway.

WTH is a "fancy flip flop"?

I get that people want to wear pajamas everywhere now days, but I really wish they had a modicum of class.

Wear your heels. It's Las Vegas for God's sake.

We are still waiting to hear if they are real rubber flip flops or jeweled leather thong type. Rubber no----leather is fine

There really are no dress codes for shows, I've seen it all at every show. Same with restaurants. It doesn't bother me, I don't care what anyone wears. If they are happy wearing whatever they want then I'm happy for them. I'll let the fashion police judge what other people wear, I don't have the time for that nonsense :)

Wow. Lots of judgement here. I rarely, if ever wear heels so for me, I wear what I call "Vegas'y sandals".

Good for you. I can't understand why what someone is wearing at another table would matter to anyone else. I've seen many "well dressed" people act like jerks at shows and/or dinner. That's what bothers me.

You can put an otherwise unkempt person in formal wear, and someone washed and tidied up can dress like a pauper. If I have a choice which is sharing the two-top quite near us in a chic little bistro, it ain't the one trying to put on airs.

I feel about jeans as some here feel about slippahs, but at the end of the day, if the business owner doesn't care, then I don't care. It's Vegas, fer heaven's sake, not London.

The casino doesn't care at all. They've got your money, so you're good to go.

Long gone are the days of enforced (or strongly encouraged) dress codes.

Not all of us can manage fancy heels, however much we'd love to. I absolutely adore shoes but I get to wear sensible flats and sandals due to long term arthritis damage.

Last time I wore heels was 1982.
