    My Trip Report

This is strictly my personal preference, but I prefer a complete TR, rather than daily, or sometimes even hourly updates. You?

Sorry Sco if I've muscling in on your area:wink2:

Me too! Only a couple folks have pulled off the "live" trip reports well and I don't know how they do it. I like the consolidated, "after the trip", reports... but the reports that include pictures are the best! To all of you who do any kind of trip report, THANK YOU... I love 'em.

Good poll, I just like pics but the live ones are hard for me to figure out where I left off and subscriptions never seem to work for me. Maybe both? Do a live one then go back in and make it all one post later if they want

I have a hard time with ones that are all in one post. Most do not skip lines when doing paragraphs so it looks like one big blurb and i have a hard time following those.

I think it's a little easier to follow when it's all in one post. And then I won't forget to come back BUT it pretty much does not matter. I like a written TR!

    Forgiven. :wink2:

I prefer one TR at the end of the trip unless it's Nate or BeeeJay then I want play by play updates.

I prefer one post after the trip. Following live ones are hard cause you get a bunch of other people replying inbetween, then after awhile you forgot whos TR you were reading to begin with.

I prefer daily reports. I also prefer they be written with paragraphs, not one big blob of words pasted in front of you.

I prefer daily reports because I feel I'm on the trip with them.

And like everybody, I love pictures that go with the report.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to write a trip report, no matter what the format. Yes, spacing and paragraphs are your friends. :) I prefer all in one at the end for the simple reason that too many start a live report and never come back or finish it. I find that frustrating. All the comments in the middle disrupt the flow of reading and can make it difficult to find another installment. I personally hate the pretrip reports...you haven't arrived in Vegas yet? It isn't a trip yet. Yes, you are excited but there are other categories in which to post. Hotel you stay in, Dates and/or big event in title is nice. I often skim the list of older reports looking for reports from a specific hotel that I am looking at. I really appreciate that.

I do not read "live" reports. I am not committing that much time to keep checking back through a thread for the next hourly or daily installment.

I prefer one report - as long and as detailed as possible!

I prefer it all in one shot because I know there are several trip reports that I've not seen all of them because I forget to look for the conclusions, dummy me...lol

The only live reports I like are Nate's. Apart from that, I look out for pictures mainly, gives me a better feel for the trip and the sights!
