Can I get change for tip money anywhere there?
    I don't need to travel with $100 ++++ in $1 do I?
Are there bill breaker machines there like in our casinos here?

It's been about 10 yrs since I've been to Vegas. Sooooo excited to go back!

The TITO machines where you cash your tickets also break bills. They tend to only give singles when you insert fives. Also, you can get the slot attendants to make change. They will still respond to the change lights but it depends where you play if they come quickly. There is no reason you can't make change at the cashier window as well but they would prefer you use the the machines.

I always use the TITO machine to break money into smaller bills.

Yeah, mainly I just use the TITO machines to break bills down in to smaller denominations but you can also get $1s from the casino cage or if you are at a table game you can ask the dealer to break a bill or a chip down to $1 chips.

    Cocktail waitress will break bills
    Bartenders will break bills
Cashier at any casino will give you smaller bills
Front desk will give you smaller bills
When you buy things, give them larger bills and get change

There are TITO/Bill breakers/ATM machines all over the place. The wife and I like to stock up on one's and fives before setting out on our daily gaming sessions.

Imho, TITO machines are the best thing Vegas ever did to date. I always resist change, it's human nature; but TITO machines are the way to go.

I always start my day by visiting the TITO machine for tip money. Unless if you're at the Plaza Downtown.....:evillaugh (check out the thread in the Downtown section.)

Sometimes those TITO machines have a long line or worse yet, they're down.

As long as there's not a bad line at the cashiers' cage, it would probably be quicker to break your bill down there.

And the reverse is also true:

Many times I'll end up with a wad of small bills after playing at and cashing out from any number of tables, making my wallet thick with small bills.

I'll run all of my bankroll into a TITO slot machine, cash out without playing, and then instert the ticket into one of the redemption machines.

PRESTO!! Bankroll converted into high denomination bills!

I always break my bills before I leave to Vegas. If I need more bills, I usually do it at the TITO machine since no human interaction or long lines are required.
