Any good pubs around serving just your traditional pub food?
    nachos, wings, beers, appetizers?

Crown and Anchor is my favorite English Pub in Vegas, off strip at Tropicana/Maryland

Haven't been there yet but Todd English PUB looks nice. Higher end take on your standard pub fare. I assume Ellis Island behind Bally's serves up your standard fare, more of a locals joint. Heard great things about their BBQ.

PUB is good but as you imply it's high end. I think Nine Fine Irishmen would fit the bill.

Lots of chain places would be able to provide the food you're looking for - Grand Lux, Margaritaville, I Love This Bar.

If you're looking for a variety of beer on tap, Public House at Venetian, Pub at Monte Carlo, Public House at Luxor (not same company as that at Venetian), MunchBar at Caesars.

Not sure when your trip is, but Tilted Kilt & Yard House will be opening at Linq.

Basically, there should be a place at almost every hotel on the Strip that will meet your basic criteria.

They're probably just thicker homemade-ish potato chips. They have wings, onion rings and beer there.

Under specials check out the free lunch special. I sat at the bar and had a fine free lunch one day and it only cost me $100. But I'd go back.

The bartender was a cutey. She encouraged me to try a couple tapped beers before I decided. There was great blues playing on the music system. I am fussy about music. This place was just great.
This is a fine lunch to combine with a trip to the Pinball Hall of Fame which is very close.

Some of these ethnic themed pubs have a rather tacky and touristy feel to them. Not this place. I could have been in London, except of course the beer was not quite what a London tap might give.

I went to Twin Peaks. It was okay but not a relaxed pub vibe. The beer is way too cold, which is one of their features.

For some reason I have never gone to the Pub at MC. I'm sure it's great.

The Pub is on our list to try this visit. My husband and I drink beer but don't venture away from the tried and true so we're anxious to do some flights.

I much preferred it back in the day when it was a brewpub. We went 2 trips ago and the beers were dang expensive and it was too loud in there to have a conversation. (music, not people talking) Plus, Monte Carlo had a piped in scent that about killed me. All in all, MC pub not a favorite of mine.....

Yep, a locals favorite and I'm not a local!

A friend who lives there introduced me to this place last trip, I'll be going again in May for sure!

The Fish & Chips are awesome!

One thing I wanted to say about Twin Peaks. It served the purpose of what I wanted out of it. A late night meal and a few beers. I had fish tacos and they were fine. I'm not saying they were amazing tacos, just tasted good.My friend had a chicken taco I think but I remember he was happy with it. The beer was good but like I said super cold, but they go for that. I think the service was fine.

So for an easy simple bite it's good. But just not a pub meal to me.

Michael Mina Pub 1842 is pretty good, and I second the recommendation for Todd English PUB. There's also a Ri-Ra at Mandalay Place, and while I haven't been to the Vegas location, I've gone in other cities and always really enjoyed it.

The Pub at Monte Carlo is on my list to visit based on their beer menu. If the music too loud and they have artificial scents piped in can I wander off into the casino with my 32 oz RIS?

Not a lot of fans of Toby Keith's in the group, but I love the place. decent food, decent prices, decent vibe. I always sit at the bar, and have had great experiences.

I'll be there in 4 days, and plan on hitting numerous pubs, it's my kind of scene.
