Who do you think is the better ventriloquist show act of these two,

Terry Factor (at the Mirage) or Jeff Dunham, and why?

I see two sides.... and they each have their own. And they are totally different acts.

Jeff cannot compete with Terry's ability to not see his mouth move.

Terry cannot complete with Jeff's ability to create humor.

It's a mix.... Now your thoughts..

We have seen and are fans of both. It depends on what you want in a show. Terry's singing knocks me over...amazing. When he isn't singing however, I find him boring and his flag waving gets old after awhile. Jeff-fa-fa is much funnier IMO. If we had a choice of shows at the same time/same price/ next door to one another...It would be Dun ham . com....for Walter and Peanut alone. Like everything else in Vegas there is something for everyones different tastes. I'm sure there will be some who prefer Terry over Jeff.

I personally think they are too different to compare. Jeff Dunham is a comedy act. Terry Fator is a musical act. They just both happen to use ventriloquism as their medium. Which I'd pick depends on what I'm in the mood for, and which other shows I'm seeing that trip. If I've already got a couple comedy shows booked, I'd go Terry Fator. If I have several concerts booked (or just wanted something a bit more adult), I'd go Jeff Dunham. Really, I'd be fine seeing both the same trip - wouldn't feel I've duplicated anything at all.

I have to say that Jeff Dunham just cracks me up. I can see the same routines of his on TV and still laugh out loud.

A better question would be who puts on a better show.
I saw Factor on TV and was told it was pretty much the same as his Vegas show. Very disappointing as he spent much of the time singing.
Ok, it was impressive the first time but after the 5th it got boring.

Dunham seems to do more comedy and is more funny.

Hoping to catch Dunham on a future trip.

Dunham has an animated movie out, "Achmed Saves America". It's on DVD but was shown on TV the other day. Unfortunately I didn't find out until it was almost over and I think it was the only showing for now.

I have to say ..... SCORE .. on this....

We have done the Ytube thing between the two. And when Cindy says fire it up, I'm always thinking Terry Factor, for she loves his ability to sing.

Then she does the WTF is that.... I want to see Walter.

I switch gears, re-fire it up, and say...... you seen this before so lets go back to your guy (Terry Factor).

    Nope, she loves Walter....

She loves grumpy old men I guess... Opps, (guess that is me )???

    Oh Sh*t.... WALTER!!!!!

I agree with most of the posts. you're comparing apples and oranges, which do you like better. My DW loves Terry Fator, I would rather see Jef-fa-fa. Sorry when I read that I couldn't help myself:thumbsup:

Wow. Hard question. Two different styles and two different entertainment values. But, to answer your question I say this:

"He slammed my steeck in de door!"

There's nothing funnier than Jeff Dunham with Peanut and Jose Jalapeno!:wink2:
