I won't be using it, but I got a mailer today from 4Q good May 1 - June 30. 3 nights comped and $80 in FP. That is up from 2 nights and $50.

We don't stay there and last trip I found out the free play is loaded even if you don't book a room. We used to just double book there and MSS.

Our play there usually amounts to playing during one NFL game at Chicago Brewing Co. Me $ and my wife quarters, both on my card. We did play for one NFL game in Oct and another in Dec and took advantage of the food match during football season.

Thanks for this post, Joe. You motivated me to call and ask the question that is really bugging me. I generally use mailed offers, one in October and another in November, getting in on the end of one and the beginning of another.
But I want to book my three nights over the Halloween weekend because that one is tough to book other places.
Last year I could book the weekend and still be all in October.
I could not figure out if booking the October 30-31-Nov 1 would invalidate me for booking another weekend later in November.
I called reservations and that was a waste because the clerk just said I could not book two months in a row. Obviously BS because I have done it now for two years. he confused the fact that the mailings are good for two months with the idea of using one at the end of the offer and the next at the beginning. They can't be booked back to back, but that is not what I want anyway. I want two weekends. I can fill one week with the D offer. In fact, the way this is looking, I think I can book Oct 30 thru November 8 all in the same spot: 4 Queens, D, 4 Queens.
If the D will give me 2 for 1 in both October and November, I'll be D-4Q-D-4Q covering Oct 26 to November 8 all with no need for a bus between casinos and not much of a suitcase roll either.
So, after you post I called the host line. I got Jen this time. She listened and in the end, she booked Halloween weekend for me separate from the mailer and so that leaves me free to book the weekend of 6-7-8 using my November mailing once it comes. She also told me that I should be asking about getting free food before I check out.
I'll get the FP in October and also in November. It is just amazing to me that I can get freeplay and use it on the 10/7 DB.

I've struggled with this all day, trying to decide on when I'll block out time to go to Vegas, tried all different arrangements, and was pretty much resigned to maybe only getting 3 free Four Queens nights this trip. So, thanks; your post inspired me to call a host and I'm booked for Halloween, even without the mailing, 3 free nights.

The Four Queens is really about old fashioned treatment of customers. I ended up feeling so fine about this that I want to play more at the Four Queens, even perhaps a bit more on slots this next trip, just for variety.

Oh, they also let me request a room. I asked for any room ending in 26 in the South Tower. They will try.

Once I figure how to cover my weekends, the rest of the trip is very flexible and there are plenty of deals to choose from.

Dewey, i think you answered my question. I have $40 in May. Can I use this on VP at the bars? I seldom play slots. Thanks.

I don't see why not. They let me use it on the DB with progressive in the back. I even wonder if I want to post that they do this because some bean counter will read it and decide it is too generous.
    Or take the roulette.
Nickles. single zero. And it still earns points. Most places that have the single zero roulette machine in quarters cut off points for that play in Vegas and in Foxwoods.
I have a bad day. I get a little drunk. I just play the nickel roulette. I think last visit I played two hours and ended up recklessly losing 80 cents.

The Four Queens is an old style gambling joint.

I have not tried using the freeplay at a bar. Try and tell us how it goes.

I have used my freeplay at the bars with no issues.

Yeah, my wife got her usual monthly / bi-monthly offer from the 4Q today ... one free night and $20 free-play. We no longer stay there, but typically stop in once or twice each trip for some VP. And what's nice about the free-play is that it's pre-loaded on her card ... no long waits at the player's club.

** Joe ... hope to see you during our upcoming trip.

Your getting a really good offer there Joe. I'm guessing hubby plays on average about 4 hours a day (minimum) x 3 or 4 days and gets the same offers like you.

Just to be clear, you're playing there one day for a few hours during the game and that's it for the trip?

Yes, but it probably adds up to ~5 hours. We get there early in order to get good bar seats/machines and spend some time after the game, but usually only on NFL game day, once a trip.

If we are out of NFL season, then once per trip we'll go for pizza and play for a couple of hours.

Back in Nov, my wife hit a quarter royal there on my card. I have no idea if that matters. It's not like she broke the bank and they want a chance to get their money back:evillaugh

Thanks for that Joe. The last 3 trips we've put all our play on hubby's card but found it hasn't made any difference in the free play he's offered. Actually, he didn't get an offer for April but I'm hoping and assuming it just got lost and when we get there, he'll still get his regular $80. We shall see.

This time, we'll go back to using both our cards and see how that falls out. It's almost like they have a maximum (or a long ways to the next level) with $80 free play offered for play between say 5 to 12 hours (on $1 VP). We aren't playing specifically for comps but no sense leaving money on the table when a little massaging might get us more.

I just got mine as well. I have been on the $80 FP. This time they ramped it up to 3 nights, free food at restaurants other than Hugo's and $200 FP. The only change I made was increasing my daily average from $4k to $5k when I was there for a tournament a couple of months ago.

mwig, is that 4-5,000 what you actually spent or what you ran through the machine (using credits, etc.)? And is it slots or VP?

To go from $80 to $200 free play is great. Is there a limit on the food offer? We used to get Hugo's offers but it's been awhile. We rarely eat a meal that large in Vegas so haven't really missed it. The free play is always appreciated though.

To answer gambler's question on food limits, they give you a VIP passport at check in that shows the 4 different comp levels. My offers of 3 free nights and $200 freeplay from the $4-5000 per day I run thru the machines gets me the RFB in Magnolia's and Chicago Brewing Co. Limits on all levels per day are $45 for Magnolia's and $40 for Chicago Brewing Co. The lowest level is only RFB at Magnolia's. The level above me adds $20 in room service plus one dinner for 2 at Hugo's for up to $150 and the highest level includes all of the above but adds Hugo's each day.

Thanks for the info ScubaStever. It's always good to know what's available. I'll have to keep track and see how we do this time. We played more last trip there than we have in a long time and either didn't get an offer or haven't received it. I'm pretty confident they'll come through for us. 4Q does have pretty good comps.

The offer states Chicago Brewing and Magnolia's so I am assuming the limits will be what was mentioned. Last trip I asked for (and received) a $100 comp at Hugo's despite being on an offer that included no food. The $5k per day is coin in on the 10/7 DB machines.

I've had silver card status for several years at MSS but they require double the action to maintain that level. Based on the comps from 4Q and the D, I might have to say goodbye to MSS for now. There are more dining options with Boyd but I think I can deal with the limitation.

Thanks Scuba, my new mailer had RFB for the 1st time, so knowing the limits is important information. So I will receive a VIP passport? This is a 1st time also!

I also got that upgrade. I did not think I increased my play it was about the same I could be more accurate but I used an ACG coupon that doubled my points. I am thinking about $4000 daily.
