Now that our Vegas trip is under our belt for this year, we are looking for our summer vacation spot. I want gambling and the wife needs beaches and other attractions. Been to Atlantis in the bahamas and loved it. Anyone been to other spots that might compare? Any suggestions or reviews would be appreciated.

You might look at Vancouver, BC... there are a few casinos here, nice hotels and lots of shopping and attractions as well as beaches. And with the US dollar versus the Canadian dollar lately your money would be worth a little more up here.

Singapore = Marina Bay Sands and Sentosa Island (W Resort is awesome). Maybe do a quick trip to Thailand, either Phuket or Koh Samui.. both destinations have some beautiful beach resorts.
France = Monte Carlo, which isn't too far from Nice.

Do a Caribbean cruise. Lots of sandy beaches to see, slots and Black Jack aboard ship. Play at King's Casino in Antigua, it's right next to the dock for the cruise ships.

Atlantic City, NJ could be a good choice. There are some quality casinos like the Borgata, Caesars AC, and Revel with nice beaches and a Boardwalk, as well as some good sailing from the marina and tours of all the 1920s era architecture and hotspots with costumed guides. We have been there several times and we enjoy it.

Another vote for Aruba – great gambling, beaches, and restaurants. It's been several years since I was there, and recently considered going back; that is, until I priced hotels. Yikes! My trips were on gambling junkets, which really kept costs down. Let us know what you decide.

I really enjoy going to Biloxi/New Orleans area. They have beaches(I do not know how good) but you have great seafood and in Biloxi where I would stay there are quite a few nice casinos. I believe that it is about 377 miles from your home to Biloxi and if you live close to Houston there are probably lots of junkets if not it is about 5 hour drive

    Tunica MS

Tunica MS just south of Memphis TN had 8 vegas style casinos. Much slower pace like Laughlin NV.

Pechanga is a nice casino, plus free room at the Harrah's in Rincon 20 minutes away. Win-win.

NOLA came to mind for me too but I don't know about the beaches. I don't know how far you would have to go to get to one and no one was exactly promoting one when we were there. But it does have the other attractions so it may work for you.

Looks like Aruba in at the top of the list. Looking at the raddison or the all inclusive riu. Lots of work to do.
