Thanks for this. I don't know if the old lady and I are really going to pop for a cabana, but I'm willing to see how much a daybed is.

The wife and I did a day bed last time we stayed at Flamingo and I believe it is around $100.....you get either one or two (can't remember) cocktails for free (at $14 a piece, this is a really good deal), and since Flamingo pool is PACKED to the gills all the time, a daybed is also a REALLY good idea!

    cheers!

Was that on a weekend or weekday? We're staying Sunday-Thursday.

OMG, who knows, we usually go for 10 days in the summer and after 3 of 4 days/nights of constant drinking I can barely tell what month it is, let alone the day of the week!

Whatever it was, it would be the most that you would pay seeing that you are not there for a weekend ;)

Based on the price list for cabanas I would guess a weekday.

I just called the Flamingo and for a Tuesday, I was quoted a price of $236, which includes an automatic 18% gratuity and a bucket (six pack?) of beer.

5 beers - was that for a daybed?

You'd be better with a cabana. Buckets run for $20- $25.

Would be interested in daybed rates. Do you get pre-assigned or is location first come first served?

That was for a daybed. I didn't even ask about cabanas. I might show up and see if they're slow. They might cut me a deal if they're slow and just want some revenue.

Unless you get there between 9am and noon coors buckets usually are $12 on special...not the best but it works

That must be a summer special...because I've never seen that on MDW - maybe it just wasn't advertised but available?

I know that's the deal that I am going for now...we always show up at the pool at 9:00am!

I'll be there before you so I'll let you know if the special is still good. Last May on a Saturday I ordered a bucket of bud light and the bartender told me about the coors special until noon which was half the price of the bud light so I took that.

Just called for daybed rates - $100 weekday and $200 weekend. Both come with either a bucket of beer or 2 cocktails

You just called today? To whom did you speak and why such a difference in price between that and what I was quoted?
