Which hotel has the latest checkout without fees? Or mininmal fees?

I have a late flight out of Vegas 9:55pm. I need to be at the airport around 6:30-7pm

Thus I really don't want to hang out, wandering about for 5-7hrs.

I prefer a place to hang out when needed.

    Any suggestions?

Perhaps my best options is the Palms?

The Wynn offered late check out at 5 or 6 pm. They told me the cost was half the room cost per night.

When I talked to a host, I asked if they could let me check out at the later time. The host covered everything.

I heard some others casino let you check out at 1 pm or so.

Palms may be the best. Any other place will do late checkout based on occupancy for the next night and other factors. Don't know if you have comps or what rates you are seeing but some folks just rent an extra night and just check out early.

That's what I use to do at MGM properties. Just checkout online. If the room is comped, I would get the extra night.

It sucks not having a room for the last day. I remember I took a red eye flight (11 pm) and did not have a room. I will never do that again.

Ya kinda sucks. It's somewhat my fault. I will be running around a bit during my trip.

I extended my trip by a day after booking the original 3 nights at Trump.

    They have 4pm check out.

But the rates for that extra night are quite a it more than I'm paying. :(

Thanks for the help and suggestions :)

If you have shown significant play on your current trip (at least up to rfl level) MGM props will let you check out as late as 6pm without "charging" for an extra day.

I know it doesn't compare but a neat storey:

First trip, no players card, on the cheap, with brother.

Stayed at Villa Roma - $50 per night (we now get better rates with CET) - it was close to the Strip and the room was big and had a fridge!

Late flight, hotel out our luggage in a secure room and gave us a back room for employees to change before our flight and an employees washroom to wash up in! Much love Villa Roma

I'm guessing you're not planning on hanging out in your room until late afternoon before heading to the airport. If not, just check out normal time, drops your bags off at the bag room near check-in desk, tell them you'll be back in a few hours to get them, enjoy the last few hours of Vegas, pick up bags, tip, and head to airport.

Palms has that new 24 hour policy, where you can check out 24 hours after you check in. That could work for you if you delay your check in....

Another thing I have done when I had a late flight, is wander around, and then use the spa for a couple of hours before my flight. That gives me a chance to clean up and change before my flight.

Different hotels have different official and non official rules. Trump - totally different animal there.

Are you not eligible for even a room at one of the other hotels? Where do you play?

I love the Palms 24 hour check out policy. I doubt it will catch on much, especially on the strip but it's great.

The latest we have had at the main hotels FOC is 1pm. At the Carriage House we got till 2pm one time. A lot depends which day you will be chekckng out as there is almost no chance of a late check out free or otherwise on a Friday or Saturday.

We were originally due to fly home at 9pm on a Friday night so I booked an extra night at the the MGM so that we wouldn't be homeless on our last day. We have since changed the flight to fly home on Saturday morning so we will actually be sleeping in the room now.

4PM at Aria since I always book my reservations through a luxury travel agent and 4PM late check-out is a guaranteed benefit. This works well when I have a late night flight out of LAS.

Are you kidding me? You live on the west coast, you need to be at LAS at 9:10, not 6:30. Hang out at MGM if you truly feel you have to be close to the airport.

I would book the hotel you are staying at for another night, hotels in Vegas are cheap (ever been to Chicago or New York). If your flight is delayed you are covered and it's always nice to have access to your room for evening flights like that.

Our flight doesn't leave until 10:10pm, we have LIMO pickup scheduled for 8:15pm, instead of a late checkout my host simply added an "Extra day" to my trip.

The bad part about that is that I need to play the last day to keep my ADT up! Usually, on the last day of our trip, from 6:00am until departure (CET properties) I play on the wife's card!

MGM properties offer a "Guaranteed Late Check-Out" for $30 if you book direct or through Mlife. Gets you until 3pm.
