Hi, logging with two other girls. Trying to keep costs down. Going for 6 nights. Staying at Monte Carlo. Although my dream is the Venetian. So disappointing I can't swing it. Anyways, any tips are appreciated. How to get from airport to MC. We are playing the Facebook game my Vegas slots and hope to redeem for buffets. Also, want to surprise our friend with micheal Jackson one tickets. Where should we buy them? Is there a bad seat in house? Going to la for the day on tour as well.

    Any tips??

I stayed at the MC in 2009 and really liked it. The Venetian is very nice but no need to be upset at not staying there. The MC location is incredible as it's perfectly set between south strip and central strip. And it's nothing to hike up to the Venetian as there's so much to see and do along the way.

If you're going to LA for a day, are you renting a car? And is this your (and the group's) first trip to Vegas? If so, you may not want to leave LV. I just scored a great car rental deal through Dollar where I can rent the car from the airport and drop it off at Treasure Island, if that helps you.

My tip, there are three of you who may all have different expectations. Discuss them first, discuss what each wants to do and try to accommodate.

I was to Vegas once before. The other two girls first time. I stayed at aria last time, but this time budget is lower. We are taking the bus tour to LA for the day. I'm most excited for that. We pretty much all have same interests in mind.

Monte Carlo is nice. Casino is easy to navigate, nice rooms, good pool. Plus, new restaurants opening up at the front.

MJ One is great. I think there isn't a bad seat in the house, but get as close as you can. We were maybe in the middle of the 200's level and could see find, but it would have been nicer to have been closer.

I did the bus tour to LA last year and really enjoyed it, if it's the same tour I did you get about an hour and half at Santa Monica pier and about the same time at Hollywood Boulevard plus you are taken around Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills and you drive up in to the Hollywood hills as well.

MJ one is new so you can only get them at the box office or online. In Nov We were in the middle section to the left. I don't think there is a bad seat since it is a smaller venue.

Besides MyVegas have you signed up for Total Rewards social rewards? It's CET's rewards program (flamingo, Caesars, harrahs, Paris, etc) If you don't have a TR card from your previous trip you can sign up for one at wwww.totalrewards.com and then sign up at social rewards here http://bit.ly/1halrFW

You can earn comps by posting to Twitter and FB (can set those posts to private) watch videos and Instagram. I earn about a $10 comp every two weeks so if you and your friends signed up you can get about $40 each to use at Caesars properties before you go.... Use the points towards $10 rewards credit (best reward on there) that can be used at these restaurants...just pick up your TR card at one of Caesars properties since you registered online.

This is kind of vague. Are you driving a rental car and asking directions, or the best mode of transportation from the airport? If it's the latter, just take a taxi. The fare will be less than $20. I know there are cheaper ways, but this is best all around. The simplest route would be Swenson-Tropicana-LV Blvd-Rue de Monte Carlo.

From the rental center, three rights and down LV Blvd to Rue de MC.

Have you considered splitting your stay? 6 nights is awhile ... if your heart is set on the Venetian maybe you could do a couple weeknights there.

With 3 of you, just take a cab. Quick, convenient, and pretty cheap. Make sure they dont tunnel you.
