Redeeming TR reward credits for TR gift cards.

Has anyone ever done it? Do you have to do it in person, or can you do it online? The gf has points and won't be going to Vegas for quite a while, so I figure she can get me a gift card for my next trip.

 

Looks like TR gift cards have to be funded with a credit card,not comp balance credits..
They do have Starbucks cards you could use but it's double points for the $$..
The TR marketplace is a joke for the credits needed for same products available anywhere..
Best to save the comps for food/beverage at equal 1-1 charges.

 

So, how many points are we talking about?

 

Probably going to be about $60 worth or more. She doesn't plan on going at all. She enjoys it, but would rather go elsewhere

 

I know somewhere on the site it says that you can use RC's, but it says something about going to a casino. If they have cards to purchase, I thought u could do it online too.

 

If you are platinum or above you can gift points up to 5000 twice a year

 

I believe you have to do it at the Casino if you are using TR credits to purchase, and also its a 2 to 1 ratio when using credits to purchase.

 

Yeah, all that has to be done in person in the casino.
