    Hi,

do need one night and do not know, what's the better option between Palms and Palms Place.

Does every Studio room at Palms Place have a balcony ?

I cann't find any informations about corner rooms. Do they not offer corner rooms ?

Palms Place is nice because it's a separate check in, separate pool but still connected to the property. If you don't like the party scene at the Palms pool the Palms Place pool is subdued and relaxing. I don't know if every room at PP has a balcony. The suites at PP are outstanding. If it's just one night it probably doesn't matter much, the rooms at the Palms are nice too, just smaller.

Thanks for another interesting bit of information on Palms Place. We are staying in May and I was not aware they had a separate check in. Now I do.

Do you recommend any special floor or view?

The view options are the same as most places. Strip or mountain. As it's about a mile off the strip the strip views aren't the same as if you are actually on the strip.

Although Palms Place has balconies, it's my understanding all the balconies have been locked for about the past 1.5-2 years or so. The only ones not locked are the owner occupied (or owner leased out ones) apparently.

The balconies are locked  .

O.k., I decided to book Palms Place Studio. $ 55 plus tax and resort fee , I guess this is a good rate (weekdays).

Yes that's a very good rate for a very nice room. You can easily take a shuttle to the strip although they end kind of early (8 I believe). But you can walk over to the GC or Rio and use their shuttles. Rio's are convenient, they have 2, one to Harrahs, one to Ballys. They run until 1 a.m.

I loved the shower at palms place!! But hated the wifi. It was god awful. And I find the reservation staff blah. Concierge lady was excellent as well.

But time to stay somewhere else.

    Have fun.

    Upgrade Is $50/Night

We loved our stay at Palms Place.......

Last October you could upgrade to a suite for $50/night, just a bigger room so might not be worth it for a night. We had a NE corner suite on floor 53, 53323 as I recall(don't think it is the 53rd story though) and the view was AMAZING.

It felt like we were in a helicopter ! We could see from Luxor to The STRAT and beyond. The Place tower is west of the Palms itself, pull in to the parking lot and head west. FYI you can't turn directly left off Arville into the Place, divider is in the way.

Have a great time and good luck !

    Rusty

I got help. Thank you so much .

We want to have Dinner at Alize and than we want to visit a concert with the Santa Fe Big City Horns (they will move back to monday evening - beginning 7th of april I guess). So we will not spend really much time in our room. I took a look again at Palms Place Website and saw 360*video from the amazing PP Suite with Fireplace..... . GREAT, but I guess, the studio will be good for us for one night.

My friends were staying in PP One BR last week, so I went to see it.
VERY nice, full kitchen, stocked. Very modern furn. Huge Bathrooms.
Terraces nice view, but they ARE Locked. You have to request unlocking.
Even had a fireplace in the living room.

They were set up for studio at checkin, but for small amount for upgrade (I think $50) the One BR was BIG and really nice.

For information purposes and for anyone who relies on internet at all. It's painfully slow. You would think the resort fee would cover a decent connection. And then to have an option to pay more for quicker speeds?

I talked with the providers tech due to terrible surfing experience. Asked if paying more would help. He said not really.

And any of my feedback to Palms Place fell on deaf ears.

The room itself is pretty good. Bathroom was great. The room was showing its wear. Some deep marks in the wood etc.

    Good luck
