Suggestions on best suite for 2 couples? Midstrip is ideal

Hey all, we have 2 couples headed out to vegas with us and they are looking to stay together in a "suite" with 2 kings or 2 queens
Cost is not a major concern and location they are looking to be mid strip if possible.
For reference wife and I are at Aria and Cosmo for the trip.

Two BR Sky Suite at Aria if budget allows would be my suggestion. Vdara would have some 2BR options for a bit less but no casino.

 

An option at Cosmo is a wrap-around with a connector (Terrace 1bdrm I think). I did that a few years back and it was great. The wrap-around common area was where we hung out but each couple had their own personal space too.

 

Many suites come with 1BR and a living room. If a 2 BR suite, one will be a MASTER and the other just a regular room, with a door to the living room.

Are you talking about you and another couple, or two other couples?

 

Check out the Marriott Grand Chateau. It is a timeshare but they rent 1,2 and 3 bedroom suites as well. Great location - 1 block walk from the corner of Harmon and the Strip.

 

I would recommend the Vdara, particularly if they are non-smokers. It is literally a few steps away from the Aria and the suites are really nice with spectacular views of the Bellagio fountains and the rest of the Strip.

 

I agree with etm117 that a wrap around terrace suite connected with a 1 bedroom at Cosmo is a very solid option. The common area of the wrap around is large and you will have a half bath w/shower(speeds up getting ready for the evening). Another option would be corner suite at Aria with a connecting standard room. Still have a common area for 4 people and a half bath. The Aria combo is about a dime cheaper than a 2 bedroom Sky Suite for a 3 day trip.

 

Vdara for sure! It's really nice, steps away from Aria, easy in-n-out... I'd love to check out that 2 bedroom loft suite...

But... the loft suite is probably $600 a night. Versus you could both get a really nice 1000sqft City Corner Suite for $150-$175 a night...it's not usually a good deal to do the 2 bedrooms.

 

The 2 other couples are looking to stay together. The trip my wife and I are on will now overlap with the "friends" trip (as their dates have changed by a couple days) so we will be spending some time with them but mostly the 4 of them will be together


I am really just trying to help them out..........with that said I have never had a need for an adjoining room or a setup they are looking for so when they asked me all I could give them was that blank stare lol.

I stayed in the two story, two bedroom at Vdara last year. Definitely works for two couples because you have your own bathrooms, rooms and a common area plus kitchen/dining area. I have attached a video I took below. Vdara is nice because it is connected to Bellagio and a 2 minute walk around the traffic circle to Aria.

In that general area on the strip there seems to be several very good options to look at, all within close proximity to everything they would need.

 

Lots of folks start out with this great idea of a suite, and then when they price it and compare just getting two rooms, reality smacks them up the side of the head... LOL!

My advice to anyone that asks me is... sure you can get a fancy suite, or you can get two nice regular rooms and spend the rest on food, drinks, shows, etc.

 

I still do this to my self on occasion.
