I am reading a lot about the trains near Trump hotel and guests having issues.

    Any tips on room location?

Are the trains really that noisy and often? All day/night?

I am a light sleeper, use earplugs when I sleep.

    Thanks

Many in our office book the Trump for meetings and our group has people who fly in from around the country. Of the 40 or so we have... some prefer the Trump because of the non-gaming environment, so we acquiesce to them otherwise we have to hear about Sin City for the entire several days. I've stayed there several times, though I prefer the Hard Rock and drive over to visit the teetotalers. Only once did the train bother me, but it was after a particularly stressful day and I didn't sleep well for that reason.

This isn't much help to you I'm sure, but much of our group reports not being bothered at all, while others come down to breakfast and start in about the train noise as soon as they sit down. Of course, they're usually the same people that bitch about the "long-walk" out to the strip, why breakfast isn't what they wanted and everything else. The "normal" folks in our group are fine with the location, the bitchy ones... bitch.

Not an issue at all. I think I heard it maybe once or twice, certainly wasn't in the middle of the night, or frequent that I can recall... I don't recall it ever being an issue. I didn't even know about the train the first two times I stayed.

Get a strip view if you are really concerned.

I've stayed 4 times, and I can say that place is very quiet, in general. Nobody is partying there or anything, no late night crowds. It's pretty mellow...

Honestly, I think people try and find reasons to dislike this place. It's a great place! I highly recommend it to everyone.

Thanks. I'm pretty much sold on staying there after weighing the pros and cons.

Just read a lot about trains thru the night.

Lots of reports on these in tripadvisor.

But all and all very good reviews on this property.

I honestly didn't notice, or at least not enough to be a nusiance.

Strip view would help, and a high floor. Pretty easy to get what you want there, it's usually not very busy :)

    Oh not too busy eh?

What difference would there be between booking directly opposed to priceline express deals?

They technically should treat every guest the same?

It's about $100 cheaper via express deals over 3 nights.

But maybe no "trump attaché service?"

Most importantly to me 4pm check out .

Anyone have experience with express deals and trump?

I almost always book via Express Deals because it's a way cheaper. But if you are looking for a specific room type then you should probably book direct. I would guess you could just ask for 4 pm check out, assuming the hotel isn't fully committed.

Never had an issue. One time I got upgraded to a 1 bedroom corner suite. 2 other times I got a strip view and didn't even ask. The front desk person doesn't know the rate I paid.

Aww that was a selling pt for me. 4pm checkout booking directly.

I extended my return date lol but another night there is more than I want to pay.

Thus a move to M Resort on my last night.

But maybe I'll have a look at express deals for that last night.

    would they move me?

What do you think? It looks like I can save money april1-2 using express deals for the Trump.

But I am staying there Mar29-April 1 booking directly.

Do you think if I booked using express deals that they would move me on the last day?
