Ideas for Swanky- sit at bar - Appetizer and drink spots

Hi All,

I have my own 'crawl' I like to do where I go from fancy place to fancy place for one drink and an app, sitting at the bar solo.

been to Jaleo, Yellowtail, Heritage Steak, Julian Serrano.

Other ideas?

Was thinking La Cave and GR steak.

There is so many of them but Mandarin Bar is probably my favourite and American Fish is great for happy hour.

 

I don't know how it ranks on the "Swank Meter", but Chart House in the Golden Nugget has a very cool bar which faces a humongous fish tank.

 

Mandarin Bar is just beautiful. Hope to spend some time there this upcoming trip!

 

Foundation Room, which you could combine in one trip with some of the other Mandalay spots like RX or Fleur.

 

On Strip, I am a fan of Verandah at Four Seasons, Mandalay Bay. Swanky, cool and classy. Very good appetizer and drink happy hour specials. As mentioned, Mandarin is about as good as it gets. Breeze's suggestion at Chart House is a solid choice downtown, as is Oscar's. On the North end of the Strip, Stratosphere 's AirBar (level 108) provides some fantastic views. I read that Chandelier at Cosmo was under a redo so cannot recommend it right now.

Off strip, off downtown I really like the vibe of Frankie's Tiki Room (NOT swanky but so cool) I also love Herbs and Rye.

 

I was there two weeks ago, the redo is only on the first level. Read on another thread here that they are installing VP machines.
