Staying at the Flamingo, was thinking about grabbing a cab to get to Silverton to the Bass Pro Shop. Any idea what that might cost me?

A pure guess would be close to $25 before tip one way. That said, if you like the outdoors and hunting/fishing, you could easily spend a day at that store. It's huge.

You say you're staying at Flamingo. I know Silverton used to have a shuttle that went from their location to CP arriving at the lower level. I don't think it had a regular schedule or if it was for guests only? I stayed at Silverton one time and you had to let them know when you wanted to go to the Strip.

Might be worth a call to them to see if the shuttle still operates before blowing $50+ getting out there and back.

From the Silverton website..." Silverton Casino also offers affordable vacation packages, free shuttle transportation to McCarran International Airport and the Strip, and an adjoining 165,000 sq. ft. Bass Pro Shops flagship store"

I have also read there is a free shuttle, but don't know much more than that. I wanted to add that you may want to plan some time to gamble there as well. The free drink service is excellent and its a fun place to hang out.

When I stayed there, I had to contact valet to let them know when I was arriving at McCarran as well as when I checked out, to go "into Vegas" at CP.

I might be wrong, but I think some of their valet drivers double as shuttle drivers.

We stay at The Silverton every year. We will be there again in 12 days. We use the shuttle and it always seems to run on time.:nworthy:

We are going to spend our first night in LV there.
I was wondering does the shuttle pick you up at the airport too?
This will be our first time staying there.
