Thanks for the reply. I was in that restaurant in the basement of the quad and I didn't like the vibe of the place.
    Somewhere with windows?

Haha its not in the basement its on the 2nd floor. But I think you're right that there are no windows. At least I don't remember any and it did have that vibe like it was in a basement.

It's not mlife, but Planet Dailies at Planet Hollywood had some great chicken and waffles. The waffle was a little better than the chicken, some of the best that I've had.

The chicken and waffles I had at Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian were the best I've ever had. It's almost ruined the dish for me because it's so much better than anywhere else I've tried.

That sounds right. Despite not being mlife property I wouldn't mind if they were the best.
    Reservation necessary?

I think its Bouchon signature dish if im not mistaken. I would give them a try if you are looking for the very best.

Cant vouch for it myself since i never eaten chicken and waffles ever, but never had a dish i didn't like there.

Bouchon is awesome. The chicken is roasted though not fried but it is some of the best chicken I have ever tasted

I actually enjoy the chicken and waffles at Hash House. Chicken is very good and you can't beat bacon cooked into the waffles. Easily can be shared by two people.

Hash House of Go Go is where we intend to try the Chicken/Waffles....I believe it's one of their signature dishes......if you friend them on facebook you get a BOGO dinner coupon you print off.....can't beat that with a sizzle stick...on the pics here the second up is what your looking for..

BTW not many restaurants in Vegas casinos have windows so where ever you go you might not have one to look out.....but I always go for the food and not the windows.....LOL

After living in basement apartments all thru university with no windows I always prefer the light. Lol

However, at risk of insulting the crowd that enjoys and the people it employs, it just had such a dirty feeling to it. Quad was like a dungeon

Hmm I sent a reply but it didn't show up.

Anyway, got to have windows. Quad just seemed so dark and aged (which it is I guess)

No reservations. Grand Lux is essentially Venetian's "coffee shop." There's usually a small wait to be seated, unless there's a convention. However, the restaurant is on the casino floor and doesn't have windows to the outside, in case that's a deal breaker. There is another Grand Lux next door at the Palazzo, but I don't know what their layout is like.

I've had the chicken and waffles at Hash House. Grand Lux was far better: the chicken is a little juicier and the honey-butter pecan syrup they serve with it is phenomenal.

Sold! Windows aren't a deal breaker but zero view is.
It will be a nice way to start the day. Walk up from Aria, building my appetite.
Now the important question for the walk back:
Which casino has the nicest public washrooms lol

I had a great one at Wynn's Terrace Pointe Cafe! Chicken and waffles with a fried egg on it.

I'm not a connoisseur, but I thought it was tasty! That place is really nice to have breakfast.

i have tasted chicken and waffles on the strip including hash house, wynn terrace and sugar factory. none of which i found particularly heartwarming though sugar factoy has a very tasty waffle. maybe find chicken and waffles downtown. save the dough for something vegas does well at....imho.
